Efia Odo reveals secret to looking young in her 30s

Ghanaian socialite and actress Efia Odo has shared some of her lifestyle habits, which she believes have contributed to her youthful appearance despite being in her 30s. Speaking during a TikTok Live session on November 5, 2026, the actress challenged society's perception of people in their 30s and 40s, arguing that age should not automatically be associated with old age. According to her, it is contradictory that people who die in their 30s, 40s and even 50s are often described as having died young, yet those who are alive within the same age bracket are sometimes considered old. "Here's a secret to how I look, because I'm in my 30s. I feel like people have made their 30s look like some kind of old age. Because why is it that when you die at 30, 35, 36, 38, 40, or 50, they say, 'Oh, you died young,' but when you're alive in your 30s or 40s, suddenly, you're old? Make it make sense. "That goes to show you that age is just a number. It's about how you feel. I have an old soul but a young spirit, and I don't stress either. I don't let anything stress me out because stress is really the number one killer," she said. Efia Odo further disclosed that she is not a heavy alcohol consumer, although she occasionally takes tequila shots. β€˜I’m happier and more grounded in Ghana’ – Efia Odo She, however, indicated that she is making efforts to quit drinking altogether because she believes alcohol contributes to ageing. "I'm not really big on alcohol. Yeah, I'll take tequila shots here and there, but I'm really trying to stop because alcohol does make you age. I just live a really free life. I'm not pressured by society. I don't let anything pressure me because pressure ages you. I age gracefully," she stated. The actress also revealed that she does not smoke or engage in the use of substances such as hookah, vapes and marijuana, which she has deliberately avoided as part of her lifestyle choices. "I'm not really into smoking. I don't smoke hookah, vape or weed. I don't do any of that stuff," she shared. Touching on her eating habits, Efia Odo added that she has reduced her meat consumption and rarely eats chicken. She also offered weight-loss advice, encouraging people who want to shed some pounds to reduce their intake of sugary foods and carbohydrates, avoid eating late at night, and incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their diets. "I've cut down on meat; I rarely eat chicken. Do you want to lose weight? Stop eating sugary things, cut down on carbohydrates and stop eating late at night. Eat more fruits and vegetables. And the fruits you eat have to be consumed at specific times," she advised.

It's thev"mo maame tw3" for me🀣 This thing eh. As soon as you hit 30, then the stigma starts "you're old" But when someone passes on in their 30's, they go like "oh she's young to die at that age" πŸ™„ make it make sense! https://t.co/0bD0eXmIUu
