Philadelphia, PA --- Ghanaians in Philadelphia offered their support in the traditional funeral rites of the late Obaapanyin Janet Yaa Atobrah. It occurred on Saturday; April 8th at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. The late Obaapanyin Janet Yaa Atobrah was a descendant of the late Nana Dwamena Akenten, first king of offinso in the Ashanti Region. She died on Sunday, October 18th at Offinso-Afrancho, Ashanti, Ghana at the age of 105. The event was hosted by Nana Kwaku Abrokwah of Philadelphia.
