MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT - PRINCE SAMPSON AFRIYIE FONTOMFROM The dream of showcasing Africa in our perspective and also helping our brethren back home which deeply moved me some years ago is being realized with the passing of such events. With the emergence of African Friends of United States Inc. (AFUS), it can no longer be said that African culture is absent in the American society. We would continue to showcase African drumming and dancing in helping our African-American brothers and sisters here know their heritage. The African Friends of United States Inc. (AFUS) has also observed that all citizens from different continents organize special day events to portray their cultures, so we, as a great uniting force, are working hard to have one grand African Day parade here in New York City. Ladies and Gentlemen, through relation building, AFUS is promoting health care and delivery of human services in deprived areas of Africa. We are also involved in developmental infastructural needs of these areas of the continent. We hope you will spread this news for us to achieve our noble cause.
