Bronx, NY -- The Asanteman Association of NY recently organized the inauguration ceremony of Daasebre Anane Amponsah, New York Asantefuohene, Nana Abena Manu, the new NY Asantefuohemaa and Nana Afua Kobi (The queen's second in command). Many
attendees also witnessed the swearing in ceremony by the sub-chiefs
nominated to support the Asantefuohene. Among the dignitaries in attendance
were executive members of NCOGA, The Chairman of the Board of Directors,
NCOGA,Dr. Benjamin Doodo, other chiefs and representatives of many
Associations across America and invited guests.
