Bronx, NY -- Joyce Ohene-Amoah, the young woman of God launched her book on Marriage
recently at the Believers Bible Tabernacle Church, (BBT). Prior to the
launching, the author was interviewed by Pastor Nick about her inspiration
and what motivated her to come out with a book on marriage despite she been
a young woman and married for a few years.
Joyce told the gathering that as a teenager in Ghana she heard of a Pastor
and his wife who constantly had fights. She approached them one day and
advised them to stop the fighting.
The couple listened to the young woman and never fought again. He said over
the years the Lord brought into her heart to write a book on Marriage so she
started doing a research on married couples. She put her findings together
into a book. Joyce has been married for three years.
Mr. Joseph Ametam and the Youth Redeemers earlier led the praises and
worship. Brother Kwame Achempong talked briely about the book, Minister
Helena Rhabbles offered advise to the young women in the audience to not
rush into a relationship but wait on God for a good man to marry.
Minister Sylvia Asamoah also graced the occasion and Sister Carol led a
praise dance.
Pastor Richard Boateng; Associate Pastor of Bronx Upper Room Assembly of
God Chaired the occasion and blessed the books before they were launched.
Pastor Mark Asante-Manu, the Senior Pastor of the Bronx Upper Room Assembly
of God launched the books.
