New York -- Kwahuman Association of New York is one of the biggest Association in New
York with a lot of members. The Association held elections to elect their
new executivec and Mr. Fred Ansong Dwamena, an Accountant was elected as the
new President to lead the Association. His opponent was the incumbent Mr.
Etool Sam. Mr. Sam after the results was announced; made a brief address
by thanking everyone for their support during his term. He commended the
electoral board for the peaceful election. He also challenged all members
not to hesitate to come out and contest for the Presidential position during
the next election just as Mr. Dwamena had done boldly. He promised to work
with Mr. Dwamena to move the association forward. Mr. Sam received a round
of applause and an ovation after his address.
In his victory address; Mr. Dwamena aka ?Odikro? promised to unite and move
the association forward. He promised not to hesitate in working with Mr.
Sam. He asked for the cooperation of all members.
Mr. Eto Sam said with immediate effect; he has handed over authority to his
successor. As this story was being filed, the hard working Mr. Dwamena had
taken over as the President of Kwahuman Association..
Mr. Stephen Kwabena Adjei who was also tipped to contest the Presidency and
had contested in the past moved to the Vice Presidential slot and won. When
asked by 3G what made him decide to go for the VP slot in the election, he
said he wanted Freddie to take that chance so he could share his experience
with him.
Mr. Ansong Dwamena is also the Chief Operation Officer (COO) of 3G Media Inc
and Associate Publisher of 3G Magazine.
