Bronx, NY -- Prophet Eric Kofi Owusu and his renowned church, Holy Fire Dynamic Word International, are busy preparing for its Easter activities and this year's activity will be one of a kind. From April 6-12, 2009, the church will be hosting a program entitled,
?Loose Him? at its sanctuary at 1111 East Tremont, Bronx, NY.
Prior to the preparation, the church celebrated its powerful and
inspirational Women's Day which was a climax to a week long crusade. It
featured the Germany-based woman of God, Prophetess Deborah. Prophet
Deborah used the occasion to empower women by offering some powerful
prophesies.
The new powerful couple Evangelist and Mrs. Anatsui came to offer their
thanks to the congregation after their recent wedding ceremony.
Many incredible stories have been emerging from the sanctuary of Holy Fire.
Of late there have been many testimonies by some members of the church and
the acknowledgement of how God is using his servant, Prophet Owusu, to give
hope to the hopeless. The man of God has said there is no time for gimmicks
and God is healing his children and bringing hope to the community. He
invites ALL to come and be a witness to God's power at work.
Those who were once childless have brought their children to church,
testifying about how the good Lord is working through the Prophet to provide
hope to what sometimes seemed to be a dead end situation. Those with tough
immigration issues have shown their immigration documents proving their
legal status to the church, testifying about the goodness of the Lord.
A young woman who was diagnosed with cancer and on the verge of dying went
to see the Prophet. During an all night service, the man of God called her
and asked the church to pray for her together. The Prophet prophesied that
she would not die and the doctors would give her a different diagnosis. True
to that prophesy, the young woman went to see her doctor and the doctor was
amazed at the sudden change. The young woman, who has not looked back, is
looking forward to a modeling career and has now been selected for a reality
show on a major TV network.
The following are some more testimonies:
A nurse who was pregnant and was diagnosed with HIV: While on duty, HIV
infected blood from an injection device fell and accidentally pierced her
through her stomach. She had mentioned this sad situation to the man of
God. The man of God prayed with her that she would have an HIV-free baby. The
woman had a baby, no HIV, and brought her child to give a testimony. She
thanked the man of God and asked for God's blessing on him.
A woman had wads of hair falling out when she combed it: She brought this
ordeal to the man of God's attention. She was offered an anointing oil to
rub in her hair. The woman said ever since she rubbed that oil on the hair,
her hair has stopped falling out.
A young man from New Jersey had a court case and was on the verge of being
deported to Ghana: The man of God had earlier prophesied that he would be
arrested and would be involved a court case. The young man saw the
prophesy coming through. Through prayers with the man of God, the case was
thrown out.
Another woman also testified on behalf of her uncle. She said her cousin;
the uncle's son was arrested and in immigration custody for months. The
young man was among several people ready to be deported from the U.S. The
man of God heard about the situation and prayed with the woman on her
cousin's behalf man. When the young man got to the airport for his
deportation, the immigration officials said there was no paper on him so he
was free to go. The young man's father said God was indeed using Prophet
Kofi Owusu to touch lives.
