Popular Black Stars supporter Kailani Ibrahim Kpa, widely known as “Powder Man,” has arrived at the Accra Circuit Court to face allegations of fraud.
Kpa arrived at the court on Wednesday, August 26, following his arrest earlier this week by officers from the Documentation and Visa Fraud Unit of the Ghana Police Service Headquarters.
The well-known supporter was arrested on Monday, August 24, at East Legon in Accra in connection with an alleged visa fraud case.
His arrival at the court drew attention as the man who became a familiar face during Ghana’s campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup returned to the spotlight for a very different reason.

Powder Man gained international recognition during the tournament after videos of him blowing white powder while passionately supporting the Black Stars went viral.
However, his popularity has since been overshadowed by allegations that he collected thousands of US dollars from several individuals after promising to facilitate their travel to Canada, Nicaragua, and the United States.
The allegations suggest that the promised travel arrangements were not fulfilled and that he subsequently became difficult to reach.
