General Overseer of Lovereign Bible Church, Pastor John Winfred, has offered advice to young men on how to approach relationships.
In a video shared on X on September 16, 2026, Pastor John Winfred noted that women who are fond of taking money from men may not have genuine affection for them.
According to him, when a woman is truly in love with a man, it is difficult for her to constantly ask him for money or other things.

“One of the first signs that a woman doesn't love you is when she takes money from you. Man of God, I was in a relationship where the lady gave me her car, and I was buying fuel for it.
“When a woman loves you, and she has a need, you'll be the last person she will call. She will first call the jon boys,” he said.
Pastor John Winfred further noted that women only take money from men they are married to.

He explained that women who are in love do not want to risk their relationships; hence, they will do everything possible to maintain them.
“If they have a need, they will rather make you see the need and won't tell you straight to your face but in a proverbial manner. When they truly love a man, they feel like doing something for the man.
“What you have is not a lover; it is a larva. If she loves you, she only takes money from you when she marries you. When a woman doesn't want to lose you, she doesn't take risks,” he added.
