Ghana can show that it's putting cedi's into the Cocoa industry. So everyone is happy. But, there are segments of roads impeding beans getting to market. The investment is not effective because you're not getting to the ones who actually need it.
Every life matters sounds good but if you're not fixing concerns that are prevalent then there needs to be more focus. Black lives do matter. They matter because "Every life matters" isn't addressing the actual issue.

Classifying human race by colours is wrong, unethical, and problematic, and should be rejected by all humans. It has bred racial supremacy, discrimination, and inferiority. Truthfully, the so-called "white people" are not as white as snow, and the so-called "black people" are not as black as newly tarred road.
Neither are Asians yellow chees, nor are Natvive-Americans as red as blood.
Isn't this a psychological construct that has given us a -white" Jesus, "white" celestial beings, and black nethe-would?
Because of the high rate of poverty & plethora of problems in Africa, and the persistence of the descriptor "Dark Continent " , it surely looks like African lives don't matter. Does it ?

Back in the day in Cape Coast there were 3 Italian teens in my high school class whose parents were professors at the local University. They were always bottom of the class in every subject contrary to local expectations. This changed forever how I thought about myself as a person and a man of African ancestry and origin and I'm forever grateful to those 3 youngsters.
God did not create any sub-humans so in every field of human endeavor I know I can be just as good as everyone everywhere if not better but it all begins from the human mind.
Africans and people of African descent are looked down upon because we as a people do not treat each other with dignity and respect. We continue to misrule ourselves and live in poverty and squalor though we are endowed with abundant resources, both natural and human. We can replicate or even outdo what everyone everywhere have done but it all starts in the mind. Everyone everywhere think they are better than us because we are black and I don't blame them. It's up to us to prove how good we are to and for ourselves. Why can't we develop our cities, towns, villages and nations like in the Americas, Europe and Asia? Right now we are mismanaging every aspect of our lives including mismanaging corruption. Corruption is everywhere where humans live. The difference is it's not glorified as we do in Africa but managed and controlled elsewhere. Laws are made not to be trampled upon as we do here but to be obeyed. We have lived as if we have no vision for our future, just being tossed to and fro by every nonsense. All is not lost yet but we're running out of time. We can change the way other people think about us by first changing the way we think about ourselves. It all begins from the mind.

Why don't you and this Kobina do a "google search" of "Black Inventors"?
Labels mean NOTHING.

Thanks Kobina Ansah for your forthrightness and thoughtfulness. That's what I expect from the younger generation of Ghanaians. You stand out from the crowd. There's hope after all.
