She again described what she termed the arrogant wastefulness of the Mahama-led government, citing the bus branding saga which she said has denied the country millions of cedis. Money she said could have been used to solve urgent problems. “We are saying to the NDC that we see you alright…you want us to see you, we see you but we see incompetence, and useless president ,we see you but we see corruption, we see you but we see bad management, we see you but we see bad governance, we see you but we want change, we see you but we want Ghana to move forward…” she observed. Ghana must develop on piece meal basis and not in quantum leaps. Roads leading to these villages must be bettered and this in itself takes time and then developmental works will follow. Criticisms are essential parts of our democracy and that is why even people are criticised for their unwarranted attacks.
NPP has ruled Ghana for 8 years and they were practically given a clean slate with huge loans quashed under NIPIC. Did they heal all the wounds of Ghana?
Terms useless and incompetent are very naive expressions to be used by functionaries of a Party that just vacated the seat of Government barely 8 years ago.
Is she talking about new villages carved and transported to Ghana? I have been out and about this morning and the developmental projects in our metropolis is simply heart warming to say the least. Change is a continuation thing and not CHANGE IS COMING as if NPP had never ever being in office before. She must remember they were voted out once by Ghanaians for their failings.
She should therefore use appropriate words to promote the Manifesto values of the NPP otherwise she will be perceived as simply insulting the sitting President being wife of a man seeking the High Office. What words would she put in the mouth of school children being the future generation?
