Right, but that Osei Mensah Bonsu is the most useless party leader in the history of that parliament, very backward man who was the one leading his NPP colleagues to do so many backward things in that house including even refusing to meet a former president and escort him to the chambers,he should be the one talking about uncultured things because he is more uncultured than any Ghanaian.
If they want to stop that their foolishness and backwardness in parliament then both Minority and the Majority must make rules for themselves as to the extend they both can behave either for or against president speaking or Finance Minister presenting budget statements, they started that placard nonsense but now that they are in power they are asking others not to do it,just imagine how both sides were behaving when the president was reading his state of the nation address, they on the Majority side were singing, the last time they allowed Asiama to sing at vetting, who does that in parliament, look at the way Adjoa Sarfo was behaving at vetting, they do so many backward things but will be the first to criticize others, I don't support what the Minority members did but both sides of the isle must stop the noise making in parliament, not only the Minority, if you are jubilating in a way of teasing the other side you must expect that they will do same in the house.

Never seen a particular group of politicians who are hypocrites of the highest order than this so called busia-danguah tradition. They have been and continue to be people carrying gens of destruction in their blood veins from the era before during and after Ghana attained independence. Just look at the way they brought down after 1966 coup. Anything they touch gets destroyed later. Today they asking MPs not to carry placards in parliament. Eiii is that so? Have they forgotten what they did particularly President Mills before he gave up the ghost? It was good for them to treat Mills in that way but nobody should do the same to Akuffo because he is God's man and not President Mills. Well time will surely tell!

When did he realise it was uncluttered? You see, this hypocrisy is what is thwarting the growth of parliament. I remind everyone to go back to 2009-6th January 2017 and see the numerous occasions Kyei Mensah led minority flouted the rules on the display of placards in the chamber. They did it to the chagrin of Ajaho and the entire leadership. Kyei Mensah now sees it as uncultured as he calls his colleague MPs
They can review the practice and outlaw it to prevent it happening in the future. Both sides must undertake a commitment. Until then he has no moral right to condemn it as he is the father of the practice in the 4th republic .

Wonders they say will never end. Mensah Bonsu should have known that the minority would not obey the agreement reached on placards in Parliament. This is informed from many agreements the minority reaches with the majority only for the majority to reject them @ the 11th hour making the minority look stupid. There numerous instances Mensah Bonsu played that game. Much as I condemn such unparliamentary conducts, can we sincerely condemn the minority this time around? The majority will surely have its way but should always treat the minority with respect to have its way. There are many tools @ the beck and call of every opposition that can be used to embarrased a govt if it chooses to use them. As Ghanaians we have always believed in 'you do me, I do you', but will it help us develop as a nation? MPs and political party members should be guided by the spirit of patriotism in all their endeavours in national assignments. Meanwhile I pity my juniour in Parliament 'cos he is reaping what he sowed. This is Newton's 3rd law of motion but will soon be over. Pls cheer up for as leader of the House, worse things will happen in due course but learn how to navigate this minefield with dexterity to win the trust on both sides to be successful. Always consult persons like JH Mensah, JH Owusu Acheampong, Kwabena Adjei, ASK Bagbin, et al to be successful in your new assignment.

But when the ordinary citizen breaks the law, the law is applied automatically? Yet, you ask us to call you HONOURABLE? You tell the ordinary citizen, Parliament is a place of Records, Facts, Laws and Regulations, yet you sit there and defile out august house with foul words! The day is coming when the ordinary citizens of this country will no longer tolerate your uncouth, undisciplined and despicable attitudes. You have the effrontery to suggest that ordinary people who criticize your deplorable behaviour be brought before a privileges committee. Do you deserve those privileges in the first place with this attitude? It is the duty of the decent ones to resist this nonsense in our PARLIAMENT!
