To Busia the Tema Motorway was a white elephant. However we all witnessed how the late President John Atta Mill acknowledged former President John Agyekum Kufuor when he invited him to the opening of the N1 Motorway and open the road to traffic with him. It was under the presidency of Kufuor that the project started.
Let us appreciate each other when we do something to uplift the life of our people.
We should have got a better deal from Kaiser Aluminium if he opposition then lead by Busia were to put their self interest and pride aside and give a push to Kwame Nkrumah and Komla Gbedema to get the best agreement for us.
Let the person who accuse another for stealing state property when given the care of the same not tell us that no one should steal state property, then end his sentence that when you don't steal you will go hungry.

THE EXCUSES ARE DRAWING US FURTHER BACK
Any time we want to see ourselves to be making progress we compare to other non performing African countries. We also feel elated when the advanced countries shower praises on us in comparison to other African countries as in our democratic process. One comparison we usually fail to do is with Asians and some Far East countries with whom we got independence around the same time. Any time we have tried to do it, we find convenient excuses to justify our failures. We think that by saying good things about ourselves, we are motivating ourselves and this will spur us on to greater achievements. Others are challenged when they are reminded of their non performances and this triggers their thoughts processes on how they can improve. These groups are never satisfied with their performances always restless and thinking of ways to improve. Perfection is not enough for them. I believe those who make great changes in the world belong to this set of individuals.I don’t feel satisfied with the condition Ghana finds itself today though I am born after independence.
After the presentation of the State of the Nation’s address, NDC held press conference to debunk some of the positions and presented what they think is the state of the nation. They tried to remind us about some of their achievements in the past mentioning the achievement of single digit inflation. This is not edged in stone and the achievement of this does not guarantee its sustainability. The question I asked myself is if we know the things to do to achieve a good thing like this, why did we not do again or sustain it? The obvious answer will be to provide excuse which is what we are good at doing. We never accept our failings but I don’t think this is the way we have managed our individual homes.Any time we make one progress forward we make an equal number backward. Our measure of progress is the building of physical infrastructure if one listens to those who are managing our economy. In areas where it is not physical the achievements have been as a result of the global requirement which our country has been part of. Considering our selves as a nation and comparing to those about the same age we agree we have not done well but again we have severally find excuses. This many believed will not be the same if this country was to be managed by the first President of Ghana. Why do we think so? Is it not because of his vision? The many excuses we have provided for our inability to make the required progress cannot be helping us. Generally, we are people who are good in making excuses and talking but are very poor in implementing solutions. We believe to have all the solutions but we are not goal oriented or achievers. I think it is long over due to be asking those who want to govern us to set high targets and if they are not able to achieve at least 70 per cent of those targets it should be reason to vote them out. We are late and we should not encourage actions that will make us lag behind the more going forward.
It is also time and I believe this should be led by civil society to set the broad areas of development for the country. What I mean by this is the National Development Agenda which should be spearheaded and fashioned by civil society. This should be taken away from politicians because there is going to be disagreement due to political orientation. How many of us are politicians as compared to those who are not politicians? The whole of our society have sat back too long for things to be running against us. There are too many gifted people in the country to allow things fall so low. We should not be comparing ourselves with non performing countries because Nkrumah, Danquah and the rest will not have done that. The worst I am calling for is the formation of a national movement for incubation of ideas which should facilitate this agenda. It should not be limited to those of us described as elites or educated. People should be deployed to go into our villages and towns using local languages to collate views from the broad sector of society. It must be an all inclusive exercise.

HOW DO WE MAKE PROGRESS NOT DOING THE RIGHT THINGS?
If the current Government does not take measured steps to implement the manifesto promises and would listen to the malicious criticism of the NDC they will falter and the opposition will capitalize on it. This observation has been stated in one of my previous articles and I want to re-echo it. The NDC believes the NPP was elected based on mouth watering promises to Ghanaians. In their views these promises cannot be realized and have embolden themselves to ensure they are truly not delivered.
I have said it is up to the Government to review its strategies based on the resources available to implement measures that will give some reliefs to the people, to enable them have the peace to deliver the manifest promises. It is the relief the people want in the immediate term otherwise it will not make sense to them for changing administration. Some of these promises may not be fully implemented but Ghanaians will be appreciative if the actions taken will provide them relief. The suffocation under the previous administration was just unbearable and the people are looking for escape so it is appropriate to provide that escape. Every development should have a human face and unless this is so the performance of any government will not meet the aspirations of the population. For those of us who love football, the key to the high spirit in Chealsea Football Club which has made the team to be flying at the moment is motivation. One cannot get anything better than this.
If Government wants to go strictly by text book prescription, then they are on the path of failure. This must be spiced with wisdom which allows for the right choices of policies and programs. The over reliance on text book which are not based on our circumstances will not help us. If I am given a place among decision makers for this administration, I will offer suggestions which will overwhelm all and sundry. I have done it in several other circumstances. It is possible to improvise for the country also. I will not be surprised if the Government falls into a ditch if they ignore sound pieces of advice.
Are we sure to be employing the ight people into the civil service? How can professionals not have register of assets which is facilitating their work to deliver on the mandate? There is a very common phrase in accounting – safeguard the assets of the company. A company can deliver profit to the shareholders using assets so it is one very important class of resources to be toyed with. The absence of records makes it very easy for misappropriation and malfeasance.
Life is really unfair in the sence there are qualified people who are ready to do the right things but are out of job whiles others are paid to do the right thing and are not doing them. The observation made by the Senior Minister did not start on the assumption of office of this Government but has been an existing situation carried over.
Frankly spaeaking if the discipline in the private sector is introduced in the civil and public sectors, there will be cry of victimization. The tax resources are just being wasted paying people who are virtually not doing anything. When will things change in these sectors to enable the country move faster in its quest for development?
I wish to plead with the Senior Minister to advise the various ministers supervising the ministries to demand that the wrongs in the sectors are righted. We cannot go on as a country like this. For the past administration, the least said about them the better. We are waiting fort them to wage their propaganda to come to power in 2020 as they fdeceive themselves.

NDC SHOULD NOT POLITICIZE EVERYTHING
When the opposition say they will keep the Government on its toes, I thought they are talking about areas of policy and governance. I did not know it is also about national disaster concerns like in the case of students who lost their lives on excursion to Kintampo. Officials of the NDC are saying that Government should pay the hospital bills of the injured and provide for the bereaved families as was done by the NADMO. I would have thought that the minority will wait to see the actions of Government to point out the shortfalls and offer their views. The NDC has gone ahead with press conference as if the Government is not capable of living up to its expectation or do not know the right thing to do.
The Kintampo disaster can best be compared to a vehicular accident which has caused the lost of lives. If it is so when did NADMO intervene in vehicular accident, providing for the bereaved families? I thought NADMO intervenes in areas of displacements of families and the likes. It is therefore surprising to hear the minority refer to NADMO in this instance where the issue is not about displacements. We know NADMO of providing relief items like blanket, mattress, buckets, canopies and those petty items. Are these the things required by the relief families?
The conduct of NDC has been disappointing of late especially on matters which do not necessarily require their intervention. They have made it their mission to comment on everything the Government does, to try very hard to punch holes where it is not necessary. If they continue on this tangent and Ghanaians notice the excesses they will become irrelevant and where they offer good alternative views, the people of Ghana will pooh-pooh them. I find their actions as boldly ambitious to return to power in the next general elections. Is it because they think the choice of Ghanaian voters to go for the NPP was wrong? The voters did not make any mistake in their choice if the NDC understand the economic and living conditions of the majority of the people. Governance is not only about the provision of physical infrastructure. Even its provision has been laden with massive corruption never witnessed in the history of the country. Anytime, they get the opportunity to administer the country in future and they adopt this path they will lose the elections heavily again as has happened.
As the NPP is trying to implement their manifesto promises they should not lose sight of their opponents and their actions. It is important to deliver on their promises because they are going to be judged by the voters on these promises. However, they cannot sit idle while their opponents continue to tell lies about them and poison the mind of Ghanaians. They have to expose the lies with superior arguments. As many people are discerning as there are about the less discerning who the NDC are usually targeting. Atimes the less discerning even appreciate the superior arguments no matter where it is coming from. If it is no so, the NDC would not have lost the elections by the big margin we witnessed. They sometimes admit their supporters did not vote at all. If it was true, why was it so? It was due to nothing apart from bad performance beyond description.
I wish to use this opportunity to remind the Government and the NPP that they should keep their eyes on the ball. Those who speak on behalf of the Government should be at their best because their common enemy is good at propaganda

CONTRACTS SIGNED ON THE EVE OF HANDING OVER SHOULD BE REVIEWED
There have been lots of issues of concern which I would ordinary like to comment on but I will limit myself to the ones I consider of interest to me. This appearance on the platform is in celebration of my birth date which occurred on the 11th of March just a day ahead of the First Lady who celebrated hers on the 12th. I have observed that the immediate past First Lady also celebrates her birth date in this month not to mention the President himself. To all these people and many others I wish them happy birth dates and God’s blessings.
Communicators of the NDC have always defended their actions of signing several contracts on the eve of their exit from power. They have relied on the fact that they are still in government until they hand over on the 7th of January. By the Letter of the law they may be right but there is something wrong considering the Spirit of the law. This brings me to the question, of the two which takes prominence? I will like the lawyers to answer the question for me.
I am a student of Science and for me my actions will always be guided by Principles which have been vigorously tested over the years. These provide the ground for any sound debate at least as reference point. NDC spent two terms made up of eight years in government. They were re-voted into power after their first four years and after this term there was no urgency to sign so many contracts within a short space of days. This might be so because they were still in charge. We are quick to say that governance is a continuous process so why cant the next government upon assuming control sign the contracts being initiated? In Accounting we have something called ‘’Extraordinary Item’’ reported in the financial statements. It is so because it not part of the normal items that appear. If one should take all the contracts signed by the NDC during their tenure in office, it will be realized the days it take for signing those contracts was far less than what it took them on the eve of their departure. This will be extraordinary. The various positions taken on this matter do not make sense but as lawyers they try very hard to make justification for their actions.
I am in full support with my mentor, the Senior Minister that all these contracts need to be reviewed by the Attorney General. The rush in signing these contracts smack of suspicion and for the country to achieve value for money it is necessary they are reviewed. I am tempted to think that the signings were done for the Government officials to get their cuts. It may also be for those contractors as sympathizers or fronting for them to be secured.
Anyone who has been involved in Risk will appreciate that issues have to be looked at in a way that the worse or unexpected can occur so precautionary measures are instituted so that when they occur, measures are in place to deal with the situation. Often times government officials and public servants treat issues involving the state with so much indifference because losses are not borne by any individual but the whole population. This attitude must end and I have maintained that those of us who have worked our whole life in the private sector are better performers than those in the public sector. If we can transfer the private sector attitude to the public sector, this country will be the final beneficiary. I have tended to agree with the Senior Minister on several issues since assuming his role. His disposition inspires confidence in me and does not behave hypocritically. I am very proud to have spent part of my working career under his coaching even though not directly. Learning from his conduct has largely made me successful in all the tasks I have taken up both in private and career-wise.
The issue of cars in the process of handing over to the new administration was another thorny issue because we generally like luxury and cars as a people. The question I asked myself was that how can we confirm the full compliment of cars in Government custody since there is no record anywhere aside the one they presented to the new administration. The issue of transparency and accountability is missing. I recall championing these two standards prior to the elections before it was even discussed at the Inter-party Forum of the political parties under the auspices of the Electoral Commission, EC. I often do this because I am an Accounting student who did my long essay in Accounting Controls as part of the award of my BSc degree. We the citizens should demand that hence all acquisitions by any government in power should be reported to an independent body aside the government in power so that it serves as a control. There is too much malfeasance in the system and I will maintain again that our country and Africa in general is a wasteful continent.
The last but not the least thing I want to touch briefly is the number of ministers because that has attracted everybody’s attention in the country. The President should be reminded that the minority are looking for a slip in the Government to make capital of. When things like these build up it strengthens them and they are likely to have issues when the time of accountability dawns. For me the explanation provided by the Minister of Information shows immaturity and over exuberance. It is not only the certificates we gather which enable us perform at our jobs but most importantly wisdom. There are some senior journalists in this country who may not boast of lofty certificates but their interventions are very refreshing. We have equated performance to certificates and I will shudder to say that we shall fail. We also don’t acknowledge people for their contributions and it is unfortunate. When it happens individuals with brilliant ideas hold back their contributions and it is the government that suffers.
As we look at the numbers one will agree the ministers are too much but I have mentioned in an earlier article that Ghanaians are looking for transformation in their lives. This is not to say it must be achieved at a high cost. Until any government is able to achieve such a laudable program with a lesser number of ministers we have to bear with the Government. We must demand the results within a relatively short time to relieve us of the hardship at least. I will say it appears we are going for effectiveness but not efficiency if the results are realized. And again what number of ministers can we put our fingers to achieve the objectives of the Government? So it comes back to the issue of finding a government to achieve similar results with a smaller numbers. Probably the time has also come to ask potential flag bearers who give ambitious promises to tell us how many ministers or cost to the voter to realize them, from now on.
The number of ministers could be informed by the politicization of our institutions. Aside the civil and public services the heads of boards, committees and commissions have been appointed by one political party or the other and they appoint those they know sympathizes with them. NPP will not be comfortable working with heads appointed by the NDC and vice versa. I see the difficulty we are facing coming from this situation. However, there should be a way out by amending some our laws and the Constitution. A progressive society is the one which identifies problems and takes to provide solution. If we are then we must do something about this and I will encourage civil society organizations to lead the process. The Minister for Information attempted to say the obvious but there were back lashes when he referred to the civil service as not having the competence to help in delivering on the President’s objectives. It is not only this but also political biases. Let us not be too hard when issues come up in the initial stages but we should dig deeper to unearth the hidden truths.
I would have ended on the previous topic but I want to touch briefly on the call by the PPP to other smaller parties for a merger as a call in the right direction. Until politicians particularly leaders of the smaller parties put their egos aside this country will continue to be administered by the NPP and the NDC. These two parties have become like football coaches who are recycled by the various football teams, in this case the electorate. It is so because the Ghanaian voter does not find any credible alternative so the two have become default parties. There is the need to break away from this otherwise our democracy will be taken for granted. It will not be easy but I can boast to have the answer. It requires hard work by these minor parties to break into the core followers of these two major parties. These people do not shift positions no matter the circumstance so they turn to have some advantage in elections. After having messed up the country so badly the NDC is hoping to come to power in the next election. How on earth? The heat is now on the ruling party so they can afford to hope so but should we forget so soon. If there is another strong party aside these two, it will not be easy to thing so. The smaller parties should understand that even put together it will be difficult to break into the voting population let lone standing individually. This is a plain truth as the alternation of the sun and the moon. If they don’t see the truth in this, it presupposes they don’t have the wisdom to preside over the country.
Our situation cannot be compared to the US and Britain because our circumstances are different. It requires a resourceful and strategic team to achieve it. My whole life has been disposed to very difficult circumstances and on each occasion I have come out victorious. I don’t believe that nothing can be achieved if there is the strong commitment and will. It is not about business as usual but things must be done differently this time. I know what I am saying and I want someone to throw the challenge and I will prove it. For now I am against the NDC assuming political power because of their destructive nature. In their first administration conditions were difficult due to loss of jobs through liquidations and sale of state properties. I don’t think this group has the skill to administer this country. The social democratic credential adopted is for convenience looking at the voter population and our general conditions. They have preference to less discerning voter population who they can easily deceive.

THERE CANT BE ANY TRUE STATE OF NATION ASIDE THAT PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT
The State of the Nation has been presented at the point I was getting ready to come on the platform so I will take the opportunity to make preliminary comment.
It is becoming obvious to predict politicians in our country having lived with them since the inception of the fourth Republican Constitution at least. The only point of agreement among politicians is benefits relating to their welfare. I know NDC will never agree with the NPP with the state of affairs at the point of departure, that is 7th January 2017. NDC thinks the NPP should accept in toto whatever they say or write. But can the NDC be trusted to tell the truth and all truth without doctoring the state of the country at the point of departure? The answer to this question is very important because we have heard the former President report a lopsided state of the nation which keeps every body wondering. A report which in most respect different from what exist on the ground. With this knowledge no right thinking person will just accept without verifying the handing over notes by the NDC to the NPP.
The Company Law has overcome this disagreement by allowing independent Auditors to undertake audit of the books and report to the shareholders the true state of affairs of the company. Can the same thing be done for the public sector too? In my opinion the NDC has not conducted themselves well whiles in power to be taken seriously. We can only accept the State of the Nation report presented by the President on Tuesday, February 21 2017 as the truth. Anything short of that should be ignored by all right thinking persons of the world.
The economic indices established by the NDC administration are nothing to write home about in entirety. There is no reasonable ground for them to engage in any debate starting from the promise they gave the people of Ghana when they were inheriting the administration of the country from former President Kufuor. They have sent the country back on most if not all of the economic indices in the face of bigger resources.
Economic literature will tell you that GDP increases with Government spending but it is not te case with the past administration. The debt as reported is the consumptions which have not been paid for. If one adds up those which have been paid for the consumption should be running into astronomical figures but our GDP had to grow at a paltry 3.6%. his is just unbelievable. I have no doubt that most of these monies have gone into accounts which are not located in this jurisdiction. Truly if all these monies were actually spent in the economy, our GDP no matter how stubborn animal it is, we should be recording higher ratio.
The resources have been available from every where one can think of; taxes, oil, loans and so forth. I have no doubt whatsoever that the deficit in the budgeted resources resulted from corruption. All the monies which have come into the state coffers did not because due to corruption whiles the expenditure over budget were also due to corruption. There was corruption all over the place. I will never belief the former President on the interview he granted to a radio station in South Africa. He was made the custodian of the Nation’s purse on his appointment as the President. He cannot claim to watch without any action whiles the Nation’ wealth was being stolen and say he is not worth the amount being quoted. He is not an angel for the people of Ghana to believe him. Until there is a well constituted audit on him and he swearing before a deity or shrine, I will not believe what he says. We have hidden behind the word of God or the Bible to tell lies so it is nothing new. Even though punishments come but it is delayed by which time nobody remembers the cause.
The idea of managing a country’s economy is the same as managing ones own family or resources. The white man who developed the concepts did not perform any magic but only applied his God given brain to do it. The terminologies used arejust in the language of the one who developed the concepts. It is a fact to say the exploitation by the white man is better than the exploitation of the black man. Has our country not been degraded by its own citizens?
Change is always unpleasant to accept but it is only through change that one can achieve a different result. The NDC people should not expect the current Government to go down the same road otherwise we shall continue to achieve the same result as they did which Ghanaians did not accept. They should stay put and allow the Government to provide alternative for the people of Ghana which is better.
The NDC people are telling Ghanaians that the President in his presentation decided to chose and pick on the indices which are unfavorable. One cannot fathom which of the indices they consider favorable and are expected to be highlighted on. Was it the same thing they were doing during their time? This means we know the right things to do but for the sake of hypocrisy and the desire to throw dust into the eyes of citizens, we turn blind eyes. Ghanaians, what do all these things tell you? We need to look sharp from the developments happening on the political front in our country. If we decide to seat on the fence without acting, those we have elected to serve our interest will one day sell us without knowing. Today some of us are leading the charge but are we always going to be available? It is time for everybody to develop interest in what happens to the single cedi we contribute into the kitty.
This is just an insertion and does not represent any major comment on the 2017 Annual Budget. It is my reaction to a comment made by the Minority Leader when he was asked to move by the Speaker for the adjournment of proceedings after the Budget was presented. I would have ignored it but I want him and other minority members to hasten slowly. They are not there to impress anybody but to serve the country as best as they can since the ordinary citizen is bearing the cost. The Minority Leader is not a quantitative person otherwise the comparison he made between the President’s figures and the Budget was uncalled for. Or was it for mischief? Presentations in whole numbers or integers, 73.5% can be approximated to 74% and 73.4% can also be presented as 73%. The same argument can be made for the fiscal deficit of 9% and 8%. If he has ever read Auditor’s opinion on financial statements, they usually use the word ‘’material’’. Financial statements are not perfect and without errors but the assumption is that if there are errors at all, they will not cause any major deviation from the position presented by the directors.
I notice that the minority have made it a point to point to any little thing they find about the majority. It is a better thy stop to this ‘’children’’ attitude and revert to serious business. We are not paying them for mediocrity otherwise some of us will whip a national campaign against situations where we are not getting value for money.
Replacing the chief executive of a company is not like replacing the owner of a sole proprietor. The various CEOs in charge of our corporations are doing so with other management members so if the President removes a CEO that cannot be the reason for the power outages. Do the rest of the management members dormant members or not up to the task? This reason advanced by the former power minister as the cause of the power outages cannot be a serious one and should be cast into the bin. It appears some of our parliamentarians are only there for partisan reasons and not for the interest of the country. Since it is our tax being used to pay all these people, we should develop the interest in what they are doing from now if we were not doing so. There are alternative uses for the resources of the country which can be of benefit to many people.
It is my desire to share the following thoughts with the Government. There is no doubt the country is going through trying times and this is the occasion we should separate the men from the boys. This is the time we shall find real performers but not just academics and theorists. I enjoy periods like this because it makes me dig deep into myself. My single most important thought is for Government to choose its priorities carefully. Times are really difficult and people want relief, anything short of that will not be accepted. There is no resource in any country more important than the human resource and associated well being. Most of the policies if not all should be geared towards motivating the people and the rest of the wonders we want to see will follow. Those who placed emphasis on the provision of infrastructure in the past did that for the single reason that they wanted to steal from the state. This was the single most important motivation for them. We cannot go down that road this time. It will be at our own peril if we try it. There is one very critical question any banker going for an interview is likely to be asked. That is between profitability and liquidity which would one give priority. I will not answer it but leave it for those who care to find out. Ghana will not deteriorate if this Government do not produce so many infrastructure at the expense of human life.

THE SUPERVISOR MUST PAY A HIGH PRICE FOR HIS UNCOUTH CONDUCT
There is one thing I have come to known about the average Ghanaian and which is that we take much interest in fresh matters and discuss them as vigorously as we can. In no time, we leave them and look for another fresh issue making the rounds and never to return to the previous one to die its natural death. It seems to me that we are not effective people.
There is so much interest in the lady whose face was smeared with pepper at the restaurant; it has attracted national interest and I hope it will not die as those in the past which have also attracted so much interest. One thing I want to ask is will the nation take the same interest if the victim were to be a male?
The Ghanaian has always suffered in the hands of foreign investors when one does a comparative analysis of foreign investors in other African countries. This phenomenon was very common in the past around the nineties but it has die down because of the abhorrence and protest our people have shown against it. Scarcely have I learnt of any Ghanaian badly treating any national of a county outside the shores of Ghana. Then what makes the Ghanaian the victim in most of these cases? The culprit in the case being discussed is said to be a Ghanaian but it is obvious there is a foreign connection involved. This foreign linkage makes him to do what he has done. This is not to suggest that Ghanaians are not capable of doing similar thing but one thing about us is that we are circumspect knowing our social relationships.
One aspect of the matter which is irritating is the Ghanaian senior officer who after the incidence advised the lady to wait for him to find out from the supervisor and kept the girl waiting for a very long time. Why did he keep the lady waiting when that was not the understanding he reached with the lady? There are instances where Ghanaians have assisted foreigners to maltreat and mishandle Ghanaians in the past because of favours they expect or for their selfish interests. In some of this it’s not just ordinary Ghanaians but those occupying high or senior positions in our society. This and many others have helped to reinforce the perception that Ghanaians like foreigners than their ownkiths and kins.
Personally, I have been a witness to similar mistreatment in a Nigerian bank in Ghana where a senior person as high as a member of parliament who doubles as the board chairman sat in a meeting with other board members comprising Ghanaians and Nigerians to ditch out a very humiliating package to some employees of the Bank to send them home. This honourable person is an NDC member of parliament from the Upper West region who condoned this action because of the fat sitting allowance he takes from this bank and the desire to be acknowledged by the shareholders for good performance. As if this was not enough they could not offer this relatively low benefit to all those who voluntarily wanted to leave the bank and infringed on their fundamental human rights also. The orchestration by this Nigerian bank was nothing but a scam to cheat the employees supported by some Ghanaians including the Human Resource Manager who together with the CEO hatched the ploy and was made the front man in its execution. These and many others of such persons are haboured by this beautiful country with lofty dreams.
It is common knowledge that employees who have attained compulsory retiring age are doing everything they can to stay longer in work. Recently, the Government even announced the extension of retiring period for the security services and they were appreciative of the gesture so what could motivate a bank to cut short the work of its employees? The motive behind this was to save the Bank staff cost but they lied it was meant to reward the staff. The compensation offered to these employees was just 24 months of their salary irrespective of the length of service in the company and transportation to convey them and their families to their final place of settlement. It was the Bank’s arrangement for these employees to take final rest from work so how can this inadequate financial payment enable them to live decent lives after their disengagement? It is an undeniable factFBNBank Ghana has one of the lowest remuneration arrangements in the industry so the compensation was not by all intent and purposes to reward. Even with this the Bank denied some employees who applied for the package. If the Bank was truthful about rewarding staff who accept early retirement why should it deny staff who wanted to access the supposedly ‘’rewarding’’ package? The package was not discussed with the staff prior to the board approval which according to HRM was received in November and by the end of the following December at least fifteen employees have been approved to access the package. They were forced into the arrangement without any psychological preparation so some of these people and their families have been subjected to underserving hardship. Most of the employees involved have worked for the Bank at least ten years and have been treated so. The grounds have been prepared to have some specific people out through the use of insults, threats, victimization and hounding by the CEO. There is tape recording of his threats and other crude tactics which have been supported by the HRM. The affected employees pleaded to enjoy the medical facility being offered to the general staffs but they were refused.
I wish to use this opportunity to invite any good lawyer who is willing to take up this case to get in touch for engagement and he will receive all the support and research to facilitate the intended suit.
This country can be better than we have it now if the self interests can be toned down for the national interests. We should limit ourselves from parochial things and let us make it our primary concern to show interest in the communal interests. My observation is that the citizens are not demanding the things due them but expect they will come automatically. The 1992 Constitution was enacted for the citizens who hold the sovereignty of the Nation.
There are many things some of us have to offer but when you do there is no acknowledgement and it is not placed in the appropriate quarters. I am committed to this country but I will not do anything that will not be acknowledged. I am not the most educated however I can surely say that over twenty six years of supplication to the Lord for the type of Solomon’s wisdom cannot be a waste. My several articles prior to the elections are testimonies to what I am saying and the Administrator of the platform can attest to it. The solutions to the challenges of this nation are not about who hold the best certificates which the white man has designed to reward us. It goes beyond it and they come from divine insights.

To be honest,Npp government is not good for Ghanaians, anytime this political party Npp comes to power Evils doers would rocks the country,if not mysterious deaths then arm robbers. Dangerous criminals has been created by Npp officials to assasinate people and drugs dealings. The dangerous criminal was arrested at Agbogboloshie konkomba market whose nick himself Bullet was hired by Npp officials. Bullet is the most dangerous arm robber whose robbs every night killings. When Npp came to power Nana Addo and Kenedy Agyapong went to Tamale and hired that mother fucking criminal to claims lives in Accra. Bullet told Konkomba market women that it is Npp that hired him. Bullet created most powerful dangerous gangsters. Bullet was arrested and put before court but Npp officials trying to release him to continue his killings. Bullet was rapping women at night, stealing monies from people, attacking beer bars, mobilephones motorbikes. If any Npp officials think they can release tribal war shall be created in this country after all Nana Addo was labble as most violent leader we all knew already. Bullet must be jaile 60years in prison. Bullet whose real name is Yakubu Alidu he is even more than Ata Ayi. He has machine guns shooting every corners.
