Police guard duty is a rational one, for security and obvious reasons. Same person CANNOT A STAY AT SAME POST indefinitely. In fact, that's why Police are often transferred regularly.
Duty at the Flagstaff House cannot be seen as a reward for some dubious claim of loyalty. Can they produce any evidence that some Police men assigned to guard Nana refused to do so? They should have been sacked then.

Winning the election was a shock for the nation but not to some of us following Nana's progress since open tour of towns and villages. He showed leadership there but others did not acknowledge him. He tried twice for the leadership bid but failed. Did any of us know the depression stages Nana went through? Today the guy is a Victor and not many people are jubilant.
