You guys get ex-gratia and in addition, collect retirement benefit payout, when you did not contribute a pesewa in social security payments while you were paid fat salaries as MPs- draining the public kitty and threatening the social security funds that ordinary public sector workers spend their lifetime paying into? The ordinary worker endures salary deductions all of their working lives and when they retire, they are paid pittance for pension. MPs don't pay a pesetas and yet are paid fat checks after every 4 years siting in parliament and twirling their thumbs, while Ghana collapse around us.
What the heck is the problem with Ghana?

I do agree with you, Eli. The framers of the law ate greedy and selfish. If that is the case, people like Hon Albert Bagbin would have claimed six bouts of exgratia now. What an anomally.
