So what is this story meant to achieve? This crap and bullshit of a story is only meant to tarnish people's reputation and nothing else. The man imported the car when he was an MP and was granted a waiver as a parliamentarian so where did he evade tax? Are we now being told that all parliamentarians who bought vehicles and had waivers through the intervention of parliament are to go back and pay duties/taxes on them once they exit parliament? My worry now is with the so-called leader of the task force, a customs commissioner, who appears to sound very political and biased. What he must know is that the NPP could be voted out of power in the next elections, and he would become a genuine target for political persecution and harassment. Hmmm, Ghana is now being partitioned into we and them, and if this continues, we risk becoming a country of perpetual vindictiveness and victimization.
