What an amazing people we are. The vast majority of consumers around the world, who purchase cocoa products such as chocolate, now prefer to buy cocoa products made from organic cocoa beans.
Yet, the genuises who control our byzantine system, and many of whom are in the deep pockets of those who import the carcinogenic inputs used in the cocoa industry, are so blockheaded they ignore that ever-growing global organic food trend.
When will we ever learn to think far into the future when our cocoa beans will no longer to acceptable to buyers across the globe for health reasons?
Why are we insisting on continuing to bury our heads in the sand over the need to promote organic cocoa production in Ghana? Haaba.

Am a cocoa Farmer but not happy because production would reduce. No need of giving free seedlings if farmers can't afford inputs to care for their farms. I had a lot of hope for the the current minister because he is a cocoa Farmer but now ,my hopes are gone. When shall we take politics away from agribusiness?
