Despite a recent string of poor performances by Accra Hearts of Oak in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, Sergio Traguil, coach of the side, has said he is under no pressure to perform.
The Phobians have been poor at home this season, picking up only 20 points from their home games.
The series of draws infuriated some fans and supporters, who have already started calling for the coach’s dismissal.
But speaking in an interview with Class Sports after their 1-1 draw with Techiman City on Saturday, Mr Traguil said: “We are one point behind Wa All Stars, and everything is possible, so why should I be under pressure. Our next game is against them (Wa All Stars) in Wa, so we would just go there and do our job.”
Hearts have not won the league since 2009 and fans of the club believe the current season is an opportunity for them to clinch the title again. They have 40 points and are third on the league log with six matches to end the season.
