Secondly, Appiah needs a good assistant. He is not very good at READ ING games so he needs help. The match with Germany was our win. Whilst our midfielders were tired Essien & Afriye Acquah were on the bench who could come on & strengthen the midfield . When Jordan didn't release the ball for Gyan to score, he shd ve immediately changed him. He didn't until later. He wanted to please his daddy. You can't please everyone and be a great leader. I want him to be soooo independent if reappointed that even the GFA gurus who are always behind the scenes influencing coaches wouldn't control him. Let's hope it gets better this time.

It is not just about a local coach. We all want a national coach that is competent and can do the job. Appiah has shown himself to be dismal, but GFA is determined to shove him down our throats.
