Accra Hearts of Oak are likely to suffer points deduction after failing to pay their GHc10,000 (GHc5000 suspended) fine for breaching the GFA’s sponsorship agreement with NASCO.
Information gathered by Ghanacrusader.com indicates that, Hearts failed to adhere to the payment terms outlined by the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA, which states that the fine should be payable within fourteen (14) days upon receipt of verdict.
This means Hearts might forfeit their week 25 match played against Great Olympics were they won 2-1 last Sunday, and Great Olympics are reported to have filed a protest against Hearts.
Meanwhile, Hearts will be in action on Wednesday against Aduana Stars in a match-day 26 fixture slated for the Accra Sports Stadium.
