Ofcourse,when you refuse to pay your huge public debt,you will no longer be a credit worthy and interest rate for loans will go up,the cedi will continue to depreciate.
Therefore,let nobody deceive you that govt is borrowing from the domestic bank so it's ok.The fact of the matter is that "borrow is borrow"from home or abroad it's still a borrow that will swell up the public debt.
I'm not surprised that Ken Ofori Atta,the Finance Minister didn't tell us how his govt is going to pay the huge public debt.Don't worry be happy.
