What a befitting rebuttal to your adversary! I like this very entertaining and well-written write-up. I think this is food for thought and admonition to forumers who are not discerning and fall into the trap of exposing their own ignorance through their grafitti and excessive caustic criticisms.

Thanks, Cousin. Chinua Achebe in Things Fall Apart observed that " so far as the hunter learns to shoot without missing, so will the bird learn to fly without perching." So, so far as Paa Kwesi continues criticising, Cousin will still continue providing fodder for the cannon. Eshe kupo ooooo! Alafia, Ameen ooooo. Duro jare!

" Paa Kwesi claims he lived somewhere near the current University of Education, South Campus, an area called Domeabra (Lomnava) or Mbrobamu"
No, lived not too far from Lancaster Rd, Ideological, Cadbury & Fry area.
"While I went on in 1966 to do teacher training for four years at Komenda College, I do not have any clue yet where my cousin went to do his secondary education"
Achimota.
"One area I seem to have an edge over cousin is my speciality of Economics. I also read a lot of Public Administration, Psychology and Political Science."
So long as you keep quoting mindlessly, authors in many subject areas, you'll forever remain a student who hasn't graduated yet a thought of his own. You're still deficient in those areas without the aid of your favorite reference, Wikipedia, which is frowned upon in esteemed circles as a veritable source of knowledge.
"Sometimes, I wonder what sort of university cousin attended, and whether he came across words or phrases such as plagiarism, academic rigour, and intellectual property theft, among others. Cousin seems to have the last word on any topic under the sun which is published on Ghanaweb. He accuses me of being a listologist as he writes that I am fond of giving too many examples without doing analysis. Is cousin aware of Comparative Studies in many disciplines, especially Sociology? If you cannot define your phenomenon or give examples of it, forget"
US education after Achimota. Creativity, thoughtfulness, brevity and the curiosity to examine underlying fundamentals are what I'm about. Your long tedious verbosity and "Listology" cloud any good idea you may present. The teacher in you evokes the didactic method you often needlessly employ in your articles. Need we have a definition of Co-ops and its history, as you laboriously portrayed in your last article?
"Cousin once bragged to me on Ghanaweb that he rubs shoulders and hobnobs with Noble Laureates at Sylvia’s Restaurant in downtown New York. It was to rub it in for me to know his academic prowess."
Cousin, this ain't a big deal so don't make a case out of it.
"This is why I have an axe to grind with Cousin for not coming out with a single Noble prize, despite his gargantuan exploits inside the theatres and operating tables of New York hospitals, where he had plied his trade as a surgeon for donkey years."
Nobel Prizes are awarded to researchers and those of us working and engaged in mundane routine work do not qualify. Thinking of retirement soon.
"Haba! Cousin should go home to Winneba to establish his dream private university and employ me as the new Vice Chancellor, with him as the Chancellor or President."
Isn't Winneba saturated with academies? Will volunteer in a clinic but damned too tired to be practicing.
1. How old is he?
You and I are of the same age and era.
2. Is he married with children? Is his wife African?
Yes, two grown-ups. No. US
3. When did he leave Ghana?
After Achimota
4. When was the last time he visited Ghana?
October 2012 for One week.
5. Which secondary school did he attend in Ghana?
Achimota
6. Which universities did he attend in the USA?
State, Private, Private XXX
7. What was his thesis for his PhD?
Irrelevant in a public forum such as this. I donwnplay academic. Not important.
8. What courses, apart from medicine, has he done?
Archeology to Zoology.
9. Is he a polymath and a polyglot?
Both, Ha ha.
10. Is he a Muslim or Christian?
Remember you and I were baptized in the same church. You should know this.
11. Which political party does he root for in Ghana? Is he an NDC diehard Akatamanso foot-soldier, or Osono Kokoroko Kukurudu Blue NPP?
Have not been paying attention but none of them is any good.
12. What motivates him to bring out the prolixity and prolific writing style?
As Ghanaians we talk too much and lose the plot of the story in our loose talk. Writing is second nature to talking and it's just another form of communication.
13. Which societies or clubs does he belong to? Is he a Rotarian, Lion, Freemason or Odd fellow?
None.
14. Which professional bodies does he belong to or is he a fellow of?
Aaah, a few. Allow me to be demure in a public forum. Again, it doesn't matter.
15. When is he relocating to Ghana?
In less than 3yrs.
16. What is his take on the unending chieftaincy dispute in Winneba between the Gharteys and the Ayirebi Acquahs?
I know a whole lot that upsets me so much because we were close to original chief Ghartey, the preacher.
The Dontohs, Ayirebi Acquahs etc and other dubious personalities with their following need to chill. I remember visiting home in the '78 when that military officer, Dontoh was scheming and vying with another opposing faction and the case went to court. I'm really sick of them all.
There's a whole lot I can't discuss ina public forum here. One thing I can tell you is my family (father's matrilineal line) was the appointed custodians of the decorative treasures of the Ghartey court since time immemorial.
17. When will Cousin form a political party in Ghana to contest the presidential elections?
Thanks for the suggestion. I am flattered. Wouldn't touch that ambition with a 100ft pole and rubber gloves.
18. Did Cousin do Fante in school in Ghana?
Didn't we all in those times?
19. Which books and magazines are of interest to Cousin Mintah?
Anything non fiction.
20. Is Cousin Mintah on greencard, pension, and is he planning to retire and live thereafter in the US?
See Answer to Question 15
21. Will Cousin give me permission to set up a Foundation in his name for forumers to contribute generously towards, to enable him relocate to Ghana and to set up his dream university?
Ha ha. Yes cousin. What's this enthusiastic attachment of yours to academies? Aren't you tired of the school scene? Forgot you still carry the chalk and wield it as a weapon of ego.
22. When is Cousin going to oblige us the privilege to read his novel based upon his sojourn abroad?
Would be one boring novel so don't count on it.
Cousin always harangues me when I try to be creative and come up with an article such as, My Wonderful Dream about Ghana, published on Ghana web sometime in April. Cousin always taunts me by asking which Zambian beer brew I am imbibing to give me all those weird creative ideas. He also asks me which Zambian leaves I have been smoking to come up with my write-ups.
Sometimes your zany ideas are up there, smoldering and billowing up in the clouds so I wonder.
"I am wondering when Cousin Mintah will send me an invitation to visit him at Big Apple, or when he will set up a rendezvous for us to meet in Ghana. I have grown very fond of Cousin Paa Kwesi Mintah, even though I have never even seen his photo on the internet"
Let's meet in Winneba in December.
Saalute. From forehead to waist, with a foot stomp, whaaam.

The trajectory of his sophisticated life should confirm the old adage that stupidity never wears off with education. Any wonder then that despite her impressive human resource, Ghana remains in limbo. Although old enough to be my father, Mintah's brain is like that of a toddler!

2. "One area I seem to have an edge over cousin is my speciality of Economics. I also read a lot of Public Administration, Psychology and Political Science."
The fact that you read those subjects doesn't make you automatically better in them than someone who didn't read them. It is possible that an amateur in those subjects can know more about them than you, the so-called professional. After all, they are reading subjects which anybody who reads widely can know a lot about.
3. Paa Kwesi doesn't need to write any article on ghanaweb. It is enough that he criticizes others which I see is his sport. After all, a football coach does not need to be able to play better football than his charges. The best literary critics don't have any worthy novels to their name. Harold Bloom and James Wood are good examples.
4. "Is Paa Kwesi Mintah ambivalent?" I don't think so. Often when he praises you, there is a sarcastic side to it. Perhaps you fail to see it. But one thing is certain: no matter his condemnations of you, he does NOT think you are a fool. No.
5. I don't think Paa Kwesi challenges your opinions on factual bases. You seem to think that if something is just your opinion, then no one should be critical of it. Of course, if you have a bad opinion or you arrive at an opinion through faulty deductions, they can be challenged! Indeed, it is opinions that need to be challenged criticized most because they are the ones that can be wrong or controversial. Facts are facts and should not attract criticism unless a falsity is being presented as a fact!
6. Well, he has endeavoured to answer all your questions to the extent to which he wants to. I think he has done well even though anyone who reads him critically will have a good guess as to the answers to some of them.
Take note of one thing, Kwesi Atta Sakyi: Paa Kwesi Mintah is one of a special kind on ghanaweb. Nobody is like him here except, perhaps, Bernard Tetteh who doesn't come here anymore. He may be acerbic, he may be wrong at times (he needs not be right all times) but he often comes out with some great points. And note also that he is ALWAYS in a joking mood and you wouldn't take all his "bad" words as any serious abuses. There is absolutely no need to drive up your blood pressure because of his words.
And, above all, note that Paa Kwesi Mintah only comments on the articles of some four or five writers on ghanaweb. It is because they are the only writers whose articles he thinks are worth his spending his time reading even if he is always coming down heavily on them. Kwesi Atta, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF BELONGING TO THIS SPECIAL GROUP OF WRITERS PKM THINKS IS WORTH READING AND COMMENTING ON. Take that as a great honour he is doing to you...

I went back and read a few more of your articles and realized that I have indeed missed some very interesting reads. I have become an instant fan of both you and your cyber-nemesis Paa Kwesi Mintah.
Keep the articles coming, you are a real gem to this portal. I happen to be a younger generation of Simpani although I've barely ever spent time in the beautiful town of Winneba.
