How were those laptops going to benefit such children, even without "Dum so"?
Not surprisingly, most of the districts that got those embossed laptops scored less than 5% passes at the next BECE exams!
My personal suspicion is that even within the NPP, there are people who are afraid that an Akufo-Addo presidency would go into the dubious deals that have been done in the past ten years and bring them to the open.

My brother, we the discerning people of Ghana should not allow the investigation into the processes of the Acquisition of Five Aircraft, including Embraer 190 aircraft and hangar to the Ghana Army die a natural death.
I was contemplating resurrecting this matter up when fortunately for me I woke up this morning to find this well written article on the subject I missed for some time.
Before I go on further, I would like to know from this forum, the whereabouts of Bokor PhD, Daniel Pryce of George Mason University, Kofi Ata of Cambridge. Sangaree of Northern Ghana, Margaret Williams, Okyeame of Belgium when this scandal broke out.
Kofi Ata self styled investigative journalist was able to fish for Nana Akuffo Addo's enrolment history at Oxford University in order to create history for himself. The all knowing Mr Bokor too followed it up with his long thesis on Nana. Why can't Kofi Ata use his self investigative journalistic prowess to uncover this gargantuan scandal involving corrupt Mahama.
I would pat Kofi Ata's back if he could contact the Brazilian Embassy in UK under the same freedom of Information Act to prowl the mystery surrounding the Acquisition of the Aircrafts for the Ghana Army.
Mr Bokor should also assist anxious Ghanaians to find out why the committee set up by President Mills to investigate this scandal involving Mahama collapsed. Daniel Pryce and others can also unravel the genesis of President Mills death.
Now back to my main issue. Sarpong like I was suggesting, we should keep on fanning the fire surrounding this two scandals hanging around the neck of Mahama. At least once every month, we should refresh Ghanaians about this wicked deeds of the corrupt President.
President.We would not let sleeping dogs lie until we get to the bottom of this two issues.
As I draw this piece to a close, I will admonish President Mahama to re-set up a fresh committee made up of neutral persons with track records in terms of integrity to probe his two mischievous deeds so that his tainted image in the eyes of millions of Ghanaians like some of us could be washed away.
Until that is done the Embraer 190 and President Mills death scandals will continue to hang around his neck like albatross. We shall return on this subject.

In Ghana it is culturally acceptable for a politician of the Fanti-stripe to steal and mismanage government funds and to be loved and worshipped by dimwits in Fanti-land. This is true for the Ashantis, the Kyebis, the Ewes, the Brongs and Northerners too. We have created a society where the under educated and uneducated can only be cheerleaders to what is tribally preferred while the educated and politically connected do steal and pillage the nation and are welcomed by their tribes and political parties as some gods.
Can Justice Sarpong be honest as to how he got to the good old USA? Was it through his education funded by his own family funds, a scholarship from the college or university in the USA, through the Scholarship secretariat or via the US national lottery? Please this is what happens today.3 years ago we purchased some plots of land in the greater Accra region,all the papers are correct but it took us till today to come to the point of registration.To come to this point we had to pay bribes left and right to speed up the proces and after publication we are now entitled to recieve the certificate.Today my wife reported at the lands and was told to pay 500 Ghana cedis otherwise it will take at least 1 year or more before they can set eye on the processing of the papers.From the beginning everybody knows that this landowners were the rightfull persons to sell the land and still the staff of the lands departments find ways and means to collect monies from people and delay the proces to frustate the people wo worked hard to buy something for themselves.This land has cost more on monies they(district assemblie,Lands department)demanded that as we pay for the 2 plots.
