These graduates should seek to become employers instead of becoming employees. The Knowledge accumulated at the university should be enough to become your own boss. You waste your precious time lining up for jobs that are not there,If you have a good look at the business communities and farming areas ,there is the need of knowledgeable men and women to drive those sectors forward. The construction sector is another sector that is growing but needs improvement,in sections like safety gear, modern equipments, and the supply of technology. There are all these opportunities but our new graduates refuse to see only for the immigrants from India,China,Sri Lanka,Filipines,Lebanon and our cousins from Nigeria to grab it with two hands. Most graduates have no idea, how to write a business plan let alone export salt to Mali or Mango to Chad.Roll your sleeves and get your hands dirty.

In the UK there is a Government start up loan scheme for young people who want start their own businesses. In addition, there are many enterprise agencies providing enterprise training, business advice and counselling to helping applicants to prepare viable business plans to apply for the loan. Mentors are assigned to those who receive the loans for one years.
As I understand it GYEEDA was suppose to provide these support services. Unfortunately it did not. My experience in the UK suggests that the structure of GYEEDA was doomed to fail. Enterprise Development Support should not have been added to the NYEP.
