If a super power like Russia with hydrogen bomb in their arsenal can label Monsanto a terrorist organization and ban it from their shores, why on earth in Nkrumah's land should our parliament be tolerating Monsanto bill in Ghana. Monsanto is plant breeder for vrying out loud. It breeds genetic plants and animal. If you pass the law they are here directly and by proxy. The Ghanaian DNA will be wiped out and the nation Ghana will ultimately give way to an Guinea pig experiment being controlled from Carlifornia. Our leaders should use their brains because If they dare us they would see real fire they've never seen before

Dear Otsibo I give you two thumps up, I think we Ghanaians should begin to fight for our own destiny because our destiny is in our own hands no authority works in Ghana our chiefs liars our politicians are corrupt chiefs are selling our lands to foreigners for mining destroying our farm lands, farm products and even our vergin forest, they have brought in Fulani people to rear their cattle on their behalf destroying every farm in the Afram plains yet they encouraging us to go and farm some of our leaders even insult us that we are lazy bastards. Look at what is going on at Akim Akrofu how on earth chiefs and leaders with foresight behave like ours. Let us consider the new port they want to build at Atuabo the implications contradictions they want to put Mother Ghana through and there's so called statesman with name withheld involved why just because their own selfish interest. It's time for us to wake, it's time for is to fight for the right to be done.

That is why it is important for us to stand up to the govt. we elected them and if we don't like the policies and they're not listening to our voices then civil revolution (not military of which rawlings did a poor job of it) is the only recourse,we must occupy the parliament house if this very stupid GMO bill is passed- these developed countries don't have a welfare at heart, they want us to be perpetual slaves forever; it's up to us to stand up, thank you!

We have every reason to believe that Parliament is being blackmailed by USAID and the G8/G7 whose intention is to advance the interests of their agribusiness Trans National Corporations, TNCs. Their tool is the G8 New Alliance, G8NA. They clearly do not care about Ghana.
IMF funds are almost certainly being held hostage waiting for passage of the Plant Breeders Bill. We know from the experience of other countries that Millennium Challenge Account payments are tied to GMOs and GMO related bills, such as our Plant Breeders Bill. We know promised money may be withheld from Ghana pending the coerced passage of the bill.

Everyday, I search the news for some uplifting message of a nation pursuing the truth of itself no matter the hardships but its all depressing depressing depressing. I want to strive on this land of my ancestors but I am powerless tomake a change because of this monster of government functionaries. My freedom has turned intooppression
