Chairman Afoko, someone has offered to show you the way forward. You may take it, or leave it. A word to a wise, is in the NORTH - that used to be the sayings of Legon students during the "Aluta" years.

I think Afoko and Kwabena Agya pong had dug their own political grave in Ghana politics. They should look for another job .

The Constitution says that we must have a register collating the Ghanains who want to vote at elections. These Ghanains must be eighteen years of age. That is all the qualification.
Preparing this register has become a problem . Why should this be?
It is a problem because the task has been handed over to a bureaucracy which has chosen to adopt a TOP DOWN approach instead of a bottom up approach This is because these bureucrats do not trust the mass of the people for various reasons rooted in their prejudices the chief of which is their lack of western eductation I
f they did they would adopt a BOTTOM UP approach by asking each town and village or city to prepare its own voting register The people who reside in these towns are the best to know who live in them and is qualified to go on the register They should be their emn police men and women of the register s not some officials residing far away in Accra
Excellent piece of advice. You've done well.
