Time for action. Prepare well with knowledge and money before you consider returning home sweet home.

Mr Badu doesn't need to be physically present in the country before highlighting the ills which are undermining our progress. Mr Badu can still throw the punches from afar and won't lose the venom.

Who are those seeking to "add value"to our bountiful array of primary products?
Who was it that argued....."Government is no Father Christmas"?
Policians alone can not;and will not solve our problems.
The simple truth is;this futile and sole reliance on Polititians is the cause of our under- development.

Does the Government control the output of farmers and the fisherfolk?
We should strive to use our initiative for productive and pragmatic ends.

"Although, we started life with the likes of South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia, we are happy to secure loans and other assistance from them."
I had just lost an extended deconstruction of this this trite remark above. Decided to write a full article to rebutt it rather than try re-writing it again as a comment. It is total simplistic, misconception and and based on ignorance to put us on par with those countries cos we had the same raw commodities inflated GDP as them. Human capital wise, they were eons ahead of us.

Andy, with due respect, I think you are being unfair in your exegesis. What is hackneyed about Mr Badu's juxtaposition of Ghana's economy with the aforementioned countries? Your argument is rather fallacious in the sense that Mr Badu is even charitable in his analysis. Because Ghana was in a propitious leverage than some of the aforesaid countries in terms of GDP back then. You are refusing to accept the fact that our under development is largely due to existential bad leadership.

Actually, that's exactly my point - very poor human capital capacity. Where did the bad leadership come from? I reached a sociological and psychological explanation for our underdevt over 3 decades ago. Wait for my thesis.

How sweet it is when these "disingenuous"cabal are put under scrutiny.
Your rebuttal to this often quoted scenario,is short and to the point.
They have deceived the entire world for far too long.

All of a sudden, Danso, seems to know every thought and intention in the mind of Mr. Badu. Is Danson Badu's spokesperson or they are same?
