It is only a big fool like Koku Anyidohu who would come up with such a serious Mercenaries Allegation. Unfortunately, on his part he failed to notice that there many Ghanaians who have the brains and could read along the line and draw a conclusion that the matter at hand had nothing to do with mercenaries as claimed by this bully. The truth of the matter is the NPP cannot and should not trust NDC to provide the much-needed protection for it's leadership. It is only a fool like Koku Anyidohu who would think otherwise. How on earth do you allow your enemy to provide you with protection. The Ghana police, BIN and whatnot have been bought by NDC, particularly those at top positions.Yes, NPP has the right to protect it's leadership. Go NPP.

It is regrettable your sense of reasoning has been clouded in party colours. This is a dangerous development that must be condemed in no uncertain terms, as rightly said by Dr Aning of the Kofi Anan Peacecekeeping outfit at Teshie.
The formation of private political militias be it Delta Force or Bolga Bulls is dangerous enough, and to import ex police officers (mercenaries) to train them. What are these party satlwarts afraid of. It is a dangerous precedent that must be condemed.
Where do you place the Delta Force if the NPP wins power? Demobilse them? Absorb them into the main State Security establishmant? Then the potential for these to turn into individual rogues may not have been considered.(Ghana may be lucky at that). Otherwise coming together for a common goal would not be something pleasant for Ghana.
That was how Boko Haram came about. The political party would no longer be able to control them.
Fellow Ghanaians, the security of Ghana is paramount. Visit Irag, Afghanistan and you would have a change of mind.

Let's see if you are there yet Adofo: a court in Ghana did not think those 3 mercenaries were choir masters and thus asked for bonds and others for their temporary release into the custody of the courts. Now either the 3 South Africans were providing needed services in Ghana or engaged in legal activities in line with what they stated on their visa applications; which is which?
Yes Fanti's have generally been dunce especially those morons in the Agona enclave. I am a Fanti who knows more about the Agona Swedru, Apam and Effu comunities than most of the talking heads in NPP and NDC circles or those in the Diaspora so I've earned the right to ask you, Adofo, to ask your damn self why do you think all the pretentious NPP intellectual fronts such as the Danquah Institute and other NPP frontal activities are in the Eastern region, Ashanti region and in Accra but acts of sabotage, treason and unpatriotic activities of the NPP are reserved for the central region? Is the Central region an NPP support base? Is it not the Eastern and Ashanti regions where most NPP financial resources are spent to spruce up building structures and create party leaders? Tell me which of the NPP national leadership is from the Agona area? So wtf would the Agona Sweden area, which is lagging in real sustainable jobs and infrastructural development, be fertile for combat training?

Yes Ghana's immigration law say you can not come to Ghana using a business visa and doing something different from the visa conditions.
For example it is important to know what the different visa conditions mean and the consequences of any visa non compliance.
In most jurisdiction it is either deportation or detention and the automatic cancellation of your visa.

I don't know the truth in this saga. If those South Africans are really mercenaries, I would not expect them or their employers to admit to that outright. After all, many criminals plead not guilty until they're found guilty in a court of law.
However, if those folks only came to train NPP security detail in non-armed defensive maneuvers, then it's a stain on the dignity of Ghana; that Ghana cannot be trusted to protect its citizens. I suppose the NPP has submitted to the Ghanaian security authorities a list of their membership who have received threats or do perceive themselves to be threatened but the security agents have not heeded their concerns. But I should doubt myself on this because I haven't heard or read about any such appeal in the media from the NPP because disagreements between political parties and Government or governmental agencies in Ghana are almost always played out in the media.
There is also the issue of national security. It used to be inquired of visitors to various countries if they've ever served in a military. Why should that matter? It's because no one would want Don Juan sleeping in the same room with their wives, mothers, sisters, daughters. Furthermore, if Don Juan tells you he is only in your house to discuss religion but you find him discoursing about love-making, are you going walk away and leave him to continue? What I mean is this, Mr Rockson says those folks (with knowledge in arms and their usage) entered the country merely as visitors. The country thus allowed them to enter, only to find them "visitors" working (they will be paid, right?) as teachers of combat techniques. If you've sworn to defend Ghana against external incursions, what will be the reasonable expectation of you?
Don't play Ghana for fools. The security agents are right in investigating this issue.
Having come to this conclusion, I must also say loud and clear that the Government should not play politics with who gets protected or not. If you don't protect one party in 2016, you may not get protected in 2017 and beyond!

Rockson Adofo,
Please advise the NPP to be careful how it operates. It knows the nature of the NDC and so should not give it any opportunity whatsoever to blacken the NPP's name. When the NPP flagbearer said we are not afraid to demonstrate and get killed in the process, these fascists turned it into: We are not afraid to die in order to overthrow the Government.
I am sure the NPP has nvery good lawyers who can advise it on every issue that could possibly embarrass it. The NPP should consult these lawyers IN ADVANCE before taking any action which could be seized upon by the NDC criminals in the NBI.
