Both you and Adu Boahene deserve prestigious award for keeping Ghana history alive.Patriotism has become greedy.Leaders are selling our pride and legacy and dignity to punish innocent unborn future leaders. Our president jubilate when foreigners are distorting our forest, farmlands and use world most toxic poison to poison our rivers or waters to prospect for gold killing our ecosystem and our wise president John Dramani Mahama said the are doing business for a living. This is very sad.Our ancestors fought a useless war and waste their precious blood for nothing. At the magnitude president John Dramani Mahama has made it his passion and ambition to allow foreigners the power take our money for free and go and borrow money and steal it back to give white man is unprecedented and sometime I can't help but his time I to stop here to avoid using uncultured words.

Quite insightful and very much on point. My thoughts are that, where are the heroes of today, to rise up and confront the evils bedevilling our country and continent? Let's remember that in every bad situation there could be at least three actors - the perpetrators of evil, the resistance to the evil and onlookers? Heroes rise up and resist this unbridled corruption of our society.

I agree with what you have said about Agya Koo Nimo's contribution to the Ghanaian culture.(Mr D Amponsah is a very peaceful man and I pray for him to grow to a healthy centenarian), as well as the critical thinking of the prof, but don't hallucinate about event of 1987 & 92 when pains had been taken to put in place an arrangement that could lead to the democracy we envisaged, and especially when courageous and determined efforts were coming from all angles to ensure workability. Justice D.F Annan should be alive to give pertinent answer to your fears, mistrust and doubts to stop you from painting with such wrong colors. Anyway our best wishes to Agya Koo Nimo again and again!!!. He is a GREAT MENTOR

My friend Dart (US) Cameron Duodu's account if the truth. You may be privy to arrangements made to assure the public, but if Rawlings and his commandos had decided at any stage to abort the process, what could Justice D F Annan have done?
Rawlings recently revealed that he had wanted to stay in power for a longer period but was frustrated by the NDC, didn't he?
In any case, how could anyone like you have entered Adu Boahen's mind to ascertain the fears he harboured that Mr Duodu is talking about? He entertained those fears all right, I am sure, but as the writer put it,he "summoned the courage" to suppress them and teach the lesson that a man can only die once. If a woman, Yaa Asantewaa has that idea, then a man could also imitate her. That is what Boahen did and Cameron Duodu is relating to the world.
And yes -- Koo Nimo too appreciates what Yaa Asantewaa's heroism amounted to, and put it beautifully into song.Youtube can allow everyone to hear that song, thank God.

Mr Jata, you described Mr Cameron Duodu as an "emerging" writer?
Do you understand the word "emerging" at all? I suggest that you look it up in a dictionary. An educated person tries to understand words before he uses them ... read full comment
