Tithes--DEUT 14:22-27
22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always.
24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), 25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose.
26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice. 27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Thank you Pastor Oduro. Do these false prophets/pastors do what Deut 14:22-27 is saying?
Pastors are robbing poor people to live luxurious lifestyles. Don't we see they become like Hollywood pop stars? Some are sleeping with girls in the church and other peoples' wives.
Paul never preached tithe but sacrificial giving. I love God and will give my best to support the church. God set me free from the curse of the law in the old testament.
Why would pastors ask for tithe and not the sacrifice of bulls and rams for the sins of the people.
I PRAY EVERYONE WILL LEARN TO LISTEN TO GOD, NOT THESE FALSE PROPHETS.

Some of the modern day pastors are abusing this law for their selfish interests. Leaving everything in the hands of God to judge will make this world a place of monsters and very chaotic. There are times when man has to come in. That is why God gave us brains. He gave us this brain higher than those of animals for a reason. Touch not the man of God is another way criminal folks hide behind evil such as sleeping with peoples wives, daughters, etc.
You are also a false pastor by proclaiming the Tithes is the only way God blesses people. There are so many evil Tithers who do not follow the rule of the Lord and I bet you such will never attract any blessing from the Lord no matter how much checks they write for you.
More over there are many people in this world that do not Tithe but do good in many other ways and the Lord is visibly blessing them. Its not what you do outwardly as Jesus warns that God is looking for but what comes out of the heart.
Thank You.

In this forum people present articles on topics they feel passionate about. Hence you have some people who speak for and others against a particular topic or subject. The moderator of Ghanaweb therefore has nothing to do with how people feel about such topic or subject.
It is therefore up to you as a reader to come to some sort of informed decision based on the strength of the arguments presented.
From your comment, one could deduce that you are still being spoon fed as to what to think. To wit, you are under the tutelage of your school masters. It is high time then that you did some critical thinking of your own.

Tithing—Is It Necessary? 1
Does God require you to tithe? It may come as a surprise to learn what the Bible says about it.
Tithing and the Law of Moses
Tithing was part of a body of laws given by God through Moses to the ancient nation of Israel. Twelve tribes of Israel were required by law to support a 13th tribe, the priestly Levites, who had no land inheritance. This enabled the Levites to concentrate on the spiritual needs of the nation. Interestingly, God’s law on tithing was not listed among the “necessary things” for Christians. Later, the apostle Paul explained that God’s Law covenant with Israel had been abolished by Jesus’ death. “[God] blotted out the hand written document,” he said, “and He has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the torture stake.” (Colossians 2:14) :- It takes into account that each individual has different circumstances in life. “If the readiness is there first,” the Bible says, “it is especially acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what a person does not have.”—2 Corinthians 8:12.How much, then, should you give? That is a question that you must resolve for yourself. The depth of your own heart appreciation for God—not some predetermined tithing formula—will determine what you give. As the Bible urges: “Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7) Tithing was a provision of the Mosaic Law covenant to support Israel’s temple and priesthood. For Christians today, it is neither commanded nor necessary.

This "Prophet" is saying just give your money to a Pastor and don't worry how he/she uses it. What nonsense! I wonder where in the Bible this man read that people were paying tithe to Jesus and the Apostles. Some of these self-annointed "Pastors" are using the Bible to plant fear in people so they can rob them. God does not take bribes. If your life is full of sin your so called tithe will not make any difference. Our blessings are in Christ. My past, present and future needs are all taken care of already in Christ Jesus. His shed blood takes care of my daily needs. Giving is good. In fact it is more blessed to give than to receive. The person who makes giving an integral part of his/her life never lacks anything in life. In the most difficult of situations, God remembers his/her good heart and provides in abundance. I have a lot of personal testimonies about the blessings that come out of giving. But we should not allow any smooth-talking, greedy people who know next to nothing about God gather us together from Sunday to Sunday and use their tongues to extract monies from our pockets. Don't be scared, God is not a monster (I say this with reverence). Don't allow people who call themselves "pastors", spending most of their time watching videos and movies, come and stand in front of you on Sundays and tell you to give your monies to them. To the honest Pastors and other men/women of God who are called by God and working day and night to serve and please the Lord, do not worry, God will meet all your needs according to His reaches in Christ Jesus.Tithe or no tithe God always takes care of His own. To my fellow Christians, give whatever and to whoever and wherever according as to what the Holy Spirit puts on your heart, but be honest, prayerful and remain Spirit-filled.

I am amazed that some of you so-called prophets emphasize the obligations of man towards the church more than duty towards our communities. I think it is the reasons people feel comfortable dodging tax but are so keen about contributing towards their church either through donations and tithes. Much of this money go to fund the 4x4s, the designer suits and the expensive jewelry that our pastors show off, while we still sell our tomatoes and second-hand clothing in the markets. When we need roads and schools and hospitals, we look up to the President and his government. However when we want to make a generous donation, the first person or place we think of is our local pastor and our church. We spend a tenth of our incomes giving out to the church and are reluctant to pay the 5% income tax to the state, so why don,t we go back to the church for social amenities when we feel deprived? We need to get serious!

Nowhere did Christ talked about the Tithe. Know how and for what the Tithe was created. It's not for the Christians. Robbing the church in the name of God and Tight rather brings curses.

I felt so sad after reading Prophet Owusu Ansa's article about tithe. Any student of the bible will know that this Prophet's congregation are in trouble. A lot of these men parading as prophets, teachers and pastors don't know what the bible teaches! No where in the bible did Jesus or His apostles collected tithe! The early disciples gave freely as the Lord has prospered them. Apostle Paul gave a thorough teachins about giving in 2nd Corinthians 8 & 9. Abraham gave a tenth of His war booty to Melchizedeck and also Jacob pledged to give God a tenth of all he posseses when God brings him back safely after fleeing to Padam Aram. No where in the bible did we hear that Jacob or Abraham continously paid a tenth of their income. Isaac never paid tithe. The bible talks about 3 kinds of tithe under the old covenant. They are ; The 3rd year tithe, the tithe for the upkeep of the temple/levites/orphans/strangers/strangers and the holiday tithe. In short the tithe was not money! it was the produce of the ground! The born-again Christian is not under the old covenant. He is not under any curse if he/she fails to pay tithe! This will be an insult to the the shedding of the blood of God's only begotten Son! The pastors of today are blind shepherds that uses fear to extract money from their ignorant congregation! Mind you, any genuinely born-again will generously give towards the work of the Lord! The reason is that our Father is generous giver and hence His sons and daughters will reveal His nature of giving. Our pastors are only interested in money but care less about the christ-like nature their congregation are meant to reveal to this perverse generation!

Tithing:
New Testament Principle (Law) or Religious Bondage
Tithing is part of the Law
Scriptural basis: command in the law, Leviticus 27:30
Malachi 3:9 says, "Ye are cursed with a curse" if you don't, Galatians 3:13 "Christ redeemed us from the curse".
Are we under the Old Testament law today?
The answer to this is both yes and no. The Old Testament law covered two aspects of the Jews life, their personal and national relationship to God as well as their relationship as an individual to civil authority. The civil law is still in affect today. But the law concerning our relationship to God has undergone a change (Hebrew 7:12) under the new covenant. If one studies civil laws, we can clearly see today that our civil law's have their roots in the old covenant law.
The law of Christ (Galatians 6:2) has all the components of the moral law of the Old Testament but none of the ceremonial law (Tithing, circumcision, ceremonial washing, Saturday worship, etc.). Not to say that we don't have some ceremonial aspects (communion, water baptism) but these are not requirements to maintain a proper relationship. These are requirements to maintain a proper perspective of what Christ has done. While in the old law circumcision or tithing were mandatory or you were not right with God. But we can do without communion or water baptism and still maintain our salvation. The fact that we are free from the Old Testament law is a revelation that Paul received and one he fought hard for. This concept was very difficult for the other apostles to completely grasp at first but eventually it was a revelation they received. Jesus talked about the law being fulfilled and thus passing away but they did not have ears to hear that.
If we try to fulfill the law today it puts our salvation in jeopardy. Galatians 5:3-4 "we are severed from Christ if we keep the law".
No. 1 no one except Jesus ever did it.
No. 2 if you break one law your guilty of them all and deserve death.
Trying to keep the law is trying to develop your own righteousness. Accepting Christ is accepting his righteousness and realizing you can't be good enough. So God wants us to stop trying. God wants us to stop trying to obey the Old Testament law. When we receive Christ he writes his law on our hearts. Our salvation is both immediate and progressive. Our walk includes a progressive salvation of our soul by allowing the life in our spirit to renew our soul one step at a time, from glory to glory. Our spirit becomes a new creation instantly; our soul is renewed day by day. God's word cuts through the veil of division of the soul and spirit to release the life changing power of the living word within us. The Holy Spirit will let us know when we violate the inward law. Tithing, circumcision, ceremonial washing, Saturday worship, holy days, dietary laws, Temple worship, stoning, all are part of the Old Testament law. Do them all or NONE AT ALL.
The law was fulfilled. In fact the Bible says this law was "until John the Baptist". Jesus was "born under the law" and so he told the Jews they should follow the law. That was only true until his death, burial and resurrection. I'm sure Jesus followed every point to the Old Testament law and I'm also sure it pains him to see us try to do the same. He did it so we wouldn't have to. He nailed that system to the cross. (Col. 2:14) I'm free, I'm free, I'm free indeed.
If I lie today I violate the Royal law spelled out in the New Testament not the Old Testament "thou shalt not" law, that is before God, we are not talking before man's court. This is not just semantics; this is potentially where we spend eternity. Galatians 5:3-4.
Let us hear what the New Testament says about being under the Old Testament Law:
Matthew 11:13 law prophesied till John,
Luke 16:16 law and prophets until John then gospel of the kingdom,
Matthew 22:37 Love God with all your heart with all your soul etc-love your neighbor-these two ARE the whole law and prophets,
John 1:17 law through Moses Grace and truth through Jesus,
John 7:23 circumcision a must to keep the law,
Acts 13:39 not justified by law,
Acts 15:5-20 observe law? Saved through faith,
Acts 18:13 these men want us to worship contrary to the law,

Romans 3:19 want the law says it says to those who are under the law, Romans 3:21 apart from the law is righteousness manifested,
Romans 3:27 the law of faith,
Romans 3:28 saved by faith apart from the law,
Romans 4:1-16 faith not law,
Romans 6:14 we are not under the law but under Grace,
Romans 7:4 we are dead to the law,
Romans 7:6 we are released from the law,
Romans 8:3-4 the law is fulfilled,
Romans 10:4 Christ is the end of the law,
Romans 13:8, 10 love fulfills the law,
1st Corinthians 9:20 not being under the law,
Galatians 2:16 we are not justified by the law,
Galatians 2:21 if righteousness is through the law Christ died in vain, Galatians 3:2 does the spirit comes by the law or faith,

Galatians 3:17-29 not by law but by faith we are linked to Abraham's blessings,
Galatians 5:3-4 we are severed from Christ if we keep the law,
Galatians 5:14 law fulfilled by love,
Galatians 5:18 we are led by the spirit thus not under the law,
Galatians 6:2 law of Christ,
Philippines 3:9 we are made right by faith not by law,
1st Timothy 1:9 law is not for righteous,
Hebrew 7:12 priesthood has changed and is necessary to change the law,
Hebrew 7:28 after the law comes the son,
Hebrew 8:6 we're under a better covenant,
Hebrew's 8:7 after the first; there is the second,
Hebrew's 8:13 the 1st has become obsolete and is ready to disappear,
Hebrews 9-10 describes the first being the law and the second being faith
Practical benefits to the church are that if every Christian tithed the church would have all the money needed to carry out the great commission. At least human reason would indicate so. Is it possible that 10 %, instead of being an answer to the church's money needs, could become a limit for many? How many times has a 10 % law cut off giving? If you're told to follow an outside law then you tend not to hear the inward witness. How many people could give 20, 30, 40 % of their income but religion has made it hard for them to hear that. "Hearing of faith" (Gal.3:2) 2 Corinthians 13:5 "test yourself to see if you're in faith."
Did tithing become part of the new covenant?
If so God decided to hide it from Paul and the other New Testament writer's. No matter how hard you try, you have to use Old Testament covenant to teach it. Some say tithing was before the law, part of the law and in force now also. Where is the New Testament Scripture for this? Circumcision was before the law (Genesis 17:24), part of the law, but is it in effect now? Some of the New Testament apostles tried to maintain it (Acts 15:5-11; Galatians 2:11) but Paul would have none of it. Hebrews talks about Abraham giving a tithe to Melchizedek but the same passage says there was a change in the law Hebrews 7:12. Hebrews 8:13 and 9:1 talks about the "first covenant with regulations (tithing is a regulation of the law) made obsolete (tithing was made obsolete)." Hebrews 10:9 "takes away first (tithing was part of the first) to establish second (tithing is not part of the second)" Hebrews 10:16 "writes law on heart and mind (God never wrote tithing on my heart or mind)"
The Melchizedek argument
Some have said that Melchizedek was Christ. So if Abraham gave Melchizedek a tithe then Jesus should receive tithes today. This is an interesting theory with no scriptural basis. The problem with this premise is that Jesus was not a man back then thus not Melchizedek and Jesus' ministry as a high priest, after the order of Melchizedek, is a heavenly one not an earthly one.
Melchizedek was a priest who blessed two systems in Abraham. The law (he took a tithe) and grace (communion bread and wine, Genesis 14:18). Jesus is now a priest of two systems: the church (Gentile centered, now) and the temple system (Jewish centered, after the rapture) in the New Jerusalem Rev. 21:9-27.
Was Jesus Melchizedek?
In Genesis 14:17-23 we have the first appearance of Melchizedek.
"And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:"
It says that he is a king, and priest of God. In verses 18- 20 it says that Abraham "gave him a 10th of all" (type and shadow of tithing) and received "bread and wine" (type and shadow of communion). Melchizedek recognized and blessed both the law and promise (grace) represented in Abraham.
Psalms 110 is the next reference to Melchizedek.
"The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head."
This is recognized prophecy of God the Father telling Jesus that he would be a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. The context of this Psalm is stated in verse 1. "The Lord says to my Lord: sit at my right hand, until I make thine enemies for thy footstool". This proclamation was after the cross. This particular Psalms seems to imply that this priesthood was conferred after the cross.
It seems the more defining scriptures are found in Hebrews. In Hebrews 5:1 states "every high priest is taken from among men". When did God become a man? Verse 1 implies two beings of like status and one ultimate being. Only in Jesus' humanity did this reality take place. God had not become man in Abraham's day. Verse 2 states "a priest himself is beset with weakness". When was this true of the second person of the Trinity? After he was born of Mary.
Hebrews 5:7 states "in the days of his flesh" is when verse 10 became a reality " Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedek". God designated him a high priest when he was a man "in the flesh". Jesus was not in the flesh during Abraham's time.
Hebrews 7:1-28 definitely looks at the similarities between Melchizedek and Christ, both were priests of duel systems. But there are also definite dissimilarities. Hebrews 7:3 Melchizedek was "without Father and without mother". Some have interpreted this as symbolic indicating Melchizedek was a natural man but had no recorded Father or mother, his "recorded history" or lack of one was a reflection of the God/Man (God who became Man) who would hold his priesthood someday, forever. But if you take this literal then what do you do with Mary? We definitely don't have a genealogy on Melchizedek (But he whose descent is not counted from them) but we have an extensive one on Jesus (Matt. 1:1-17). Having neither beginning of days nor end of life. Jesus has a birthday and a day he died. The second person of the Trinity has no beginning or end but priest are taken from among men ("And the Word was made flesh", John 1:14) not God. Any reference to a mediator between God and man is always someone with an earth suit on. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" Melchizedek was like Christ, "But made like the Son of God", Heb. 7:3. Melchizedek's life was a hint of the incarnation to come.
Hebrews 7:4 states that Melchizedek was a man.
Hebrews 7:6 states that Melchizedek's genealogy was not traced from Abraham. (6But he whose descent is not counted from them) There is a direct genealogy from Abraham to Jesus (Matt. 1:1-17).
Hebrews 7:15 talks about another priest arising according to the likeness of Melchizedek. What does "after the order" imply? Doesn't another imply different? Likeness (similarity) and same (identical)? John the Baptist was a type and shadow of Elijah but not Elijah.
Hebrews 7:22 talks about "Jesus has become". Jesus either always was or Jesus "has become" a priest after the order of Melchizedek.
Even though there are interesting parallels between Melchizedek and Jesus I think the scriptures' clearly state they are separate people. If we look at Hebrews 8:4 it appears to imply that Jesus' priesthood is in his present heavenly position at the right hand of God and "if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all". His priesthood seems to be related to his heavenly ministry in the true temple unlike Melchizedek in Genesis. Which agrees with Psalms 110 "Sit thou at my right hand"
One could say Benny Hinn has a ministry like Kathryn Kuhlman or Benny Hinn is after the order of Kathryn Kuhlman but you can't say Benny Hinn is Kathryn Kuhlman or that Kathryn Kuhlman is Benny Hinn.
What did Jesus say about tithing?
Luke 11:42
"Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone."
Matt 23:23-24
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices-mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel."
Matthew 5:17-20
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
I think it's interesting to note that in verse 17 he uses the phrase "law or the Prophets" and in verse 18 he just uses "law". To understand this verse it's important to understand the context in which it was spoken. So let's look at the history of man. From Adam to Abraham/Moses there is 2000 years. From Moses to John the Baptist/Jesus there is 2000 years. From Jesus/death, burial, Resurrection to present there is 2000 years. These three periods are all significant, separate dealings that God has had with mankind. The period between Abraham and Moses was a transitional period (430yrs.) into the time of the Law and the Prophets. Abraham was an interesting individual whose life spoke to both the Jews under the law and Christians under Grace. For Abraham's life had the concept of righteousness through faith and the concept of the law (tithing and circumcision).
The law was given to the Jews. It was a Jewish system. Luke 16:16 (the law and the Prophets were until John). The Bible says this system was up until John. So what came after John? Another transition period. From John till the death, burial and Resurrection of Jesus. Galatians 4:4-5 says "Jesus was born under the law". Jesus was a transitional figure, for he taught Old Testament law (Matthew 5:17-20, Luke 11:42, Matthew 23:23-24) and the Royal law of the New Testament (Matthew 22:37; Romans 13:9 for this, thou shall not commit adultery, thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, thou shall not bear false witness, thou shall not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, thou shall love my neighbor as thyself).
But after Jesus' Resurrection, when he fulfilled the demands of justice with his blood, we entered a new system, a new covenant, a new priesthood (the tithe was for the Levitical priesthood), with a change in the law. John 1:17 "the law was through Moses but Grace and truth came through Jesus" the Moses system was the Old Testament law (tithing, dietary laws, etc) the new system through Jesus' sacrifice is summed up in Romans 6:14 "we're not under the law that under Grace".
I don't know how more clearly this can be stated. The facts are we are "scabs" (Gentiles), the union workers (Jews) have gone on strike. Management has brought us in as scab workers. We don't have to join the union (old covenant system). We don't have to go to those stinky (blood of animal sacrifices) smoke filled (the burning of incense) union halls (Temple worship). We don't have to pay the union dues (tithe). The management loves us and treats us as family. There are rumors that were being used to irritate the strikers to cause them to come back to work (Deuteronomy 32:21). If they do we could be yanked out of here in a heartbeat (in a twinkling of an eye 1 Cor. 15:51-53). But we still get to take advantage of the great retirement benefits.
Now back to verse 18, when Jesus paid the price on the Cross-he accomplished, fulfilled the law (Moses) and some of the prophecies (Elijah). I think the reason that verse 18 doesn't include "the Prophets" is that some prophecies will not be completely fulfilled until his second coming (Elijah comes first). It's like the Jews not understanding his first coming when they thought he would overthrow the Romans and set up his kingdom now. They didn't see the gap between the suffering servant (Isaiah 53) and the ruling King (Revelation 21:15-16). And there's a gap between the fulfilling of the law (Moses) and the fulfilling of the Prophets (Elijah). I hope I've included enough verses to prove that the law was fulfilled.
There's no question that the Jews understood that the apostles were teaching something new and contrary to law keeping. Acts 18:13 "these man want us to worship contrary to the law" Acts 21:21 "you teach us to forsake Moses". Christ was born under the law but was also the "end of the law" Romans 10:4.
What is the law, where is it found in the Old Testament? Some say the first five books of the Old Testament but this is just an arbitrary division. Jesus makes a quote and says, "it is written in the law" in John 15:25, he is quoting Psalms 35:19, 69:4. In I Corinthians 14:21 they quote from the law and reference Isaiah 28:11. I think God would call everything from Moses to John the Baptist "the Law and Prophets". The "Law (Moses) and Prophets (Elijah)" is used as a catchall term for what has passed away under the new covenant.
True there are prophecies not yet fulfilled (Elijah's work is not completed, Moses' is) because there is a break in the system of God working strictly with the Jews. Prophecy indicates after his second coming he will again primarily work through the Jews (Zechariah 2:12, 8:23). When Jesus said if you destroy this Temple (center of the old covenant system) I would raise it up in three days, he was speaking in the law of double reference. He was not only speaking about his body, which was raised early on the third day (24 hour days), but he was also speaking of the physical Temple (Jewish system) that will be raised early on the third day ("one day is as a 1000 years"). Jesus and the Temple (Matthew 27:51) died the same day. Both gave up their ghost. When the Temple is resurrected so will God's working with the Jews. Now is the time of the Gentiles. The Gentiles are not under the law. The law was given to the Jews not the Gentiles.
The facts are Abraham did not practice the law of tithing, his giving that 10% was a type and shadow of tithing just like John the Baptist was a type and shadow of Elijah. There is no Scripture he practiced regular tithing. There was no law (Moses or Levitical priesthood) at that time. There is no scripture that Melchizedek ever came for a tithe again. There is no law (Moses) at this time, period.
Are we only right with God if we follow the law of tithing today?
Is our right standing connected with the law? If we are commanded to tithe today than we're not right with God's command if we don't Galatians 2:21 "for if righteousness comes through the law Christ died needlessly" our right standing comes from hearing with faith Galatians 3:2.
The law was a tutor. It taught us to give 10 %. Galatians 3:25 " now that faith has come we no longer need a tutor " those who are under the law are a slave to the law. Galatians 4:7 "we are no longer a slave" Romans 9:31-32 "pursue by faith not works".
The law of tithing imposes a financial debt (Amos 5:11), if we don't pay that debt were in trouble. The law demands certain actions to stay right with the lawgiver. This would change the nature of our righteousness in the new covenant, Amos 5:7 "fruit of righteousness to wormwood", "as many as are under the law are under a curse" Galatians 3:10.
Let Abraham speak to this: Abraham's life speaks to the issue of the law. Abraham had two sons, Ishmael (law) and Isaac (promise). Gal. 4:21-31, 5:1-10. The son that Abraham had through Hagar was based on the flesh, the law and customs of the time. The son that Abraham had through Sarah, Isaac, was the son of promise. One-day the Holy Spirit (Sarah) told Abraham to get rid of Hagar (Old Covenant) and Ishmael (tithing, etc.). Then God the Father told Abraham to forever put Ishmael outside the camp. Can you imagine the pain Abraham went through. I can just hear him reason with God. But can't he visit us once a week (Saturday Sabbath)?, but God says no. But can't I flow him some money (tithing)?, no. Can I at least have a meal (dietary laws) with him occasionally?, no. But he will be all alone in the desert can't I defend him (stoning)?, no. Can't he come home for the holidays (holy days)?, no. But God can't I------- no, no, no.
The law (Ishmael, tithing) must be kept outside the camp (Church). Grace (Jews) might try to accommodate the law (Arabs) but the law (Arabs) will destroy grace (the Jews). Ishmael hates Isaac. Isaac (promise, grace) might allow Ishmael (law) to live in the camp but if he does Ishmael (law, Arabs) will kill him (grace, Jews). It's true now, it was true then, it will always be true.
No matter what our emotional attachment is with the law we must put it outside the Church, send it into the desert (civil law). As a pastor we might see the benefit of tithing to help the budget of the Church. As a surgeon we might see the benefits of circumcision, it would bring in a lot of business. As a kosher food distributor we might see the benefits in the dietary laws, we would have a corner on the market. We must put our emotional attachments aside and obey God. Put Ishmael (tithing, etc.) and Hagar (Old Covenant) outside the camp, forever. No compromise, for no reason.
The principle of giving in the New Testament
1. What is the New Testament equivalent to tithing? It seems to me that Galatians 6:6 is the closest equivalents to tithing (the tithe was for the Levitical priesthood). We're taught to give to those who teach us the word, Galatians 6:6 "if taught the word then share in all good things" and 1 Tim. 5:18 "For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward." Based on the belief that the old covenant holds types and shadows for us today I believe this will answer a believer's questions about what do we replace the tithe with. How much? Are you getting fresh bread (words of life) or moldy bread (men's ideas)? Listen to your heart on giving. Support where your feed!!! Fulfill the storehouse principle.
2. We're taught the principles of sowing and reaping, Galatians 6:7, 2 Corinthians 9:6-sowings and reaping-a seed you sow not a debt you owe.
Support where your feed!!! Also plant into good soil, you will reap from the blessing in the soil. Sow into GLORY reap GLORY.
3. We're taught to listen to our hearts as far as giving is concerned, 2 Corinthians 8:2-3 is New Testament giving----from the heart not from the dictates of the/a Law.
The nature of a law is obedience by compulsion for the law has penalty, 2 Corinthians 9:7 "purposed in his heart"-"not grudgingly"-"not under compulsion" This is probably the foundational verse for new testament giving.
4. The practice of our giving, coming from the heart, would cause us to be moved by compassion, Ephesians 4:28 "give to who has need"
Paul had ample opportunity to bring up the "principle" or Law of tithing when he had needs both personally and for the church at Jerusalem, 2 Corinthians 11:9. Why didn't Paul teach them to tithe? In 2 Corinthians 11:8 Paul talks about "wages" (1 Tim. 5:18) he also talks about gifts but never about receiving tithes.
The principle (law) of giving in the New Testament comes from the heart not from the dictates of the law, 2 Corinthians 8:10 "giving comes by desire", 2 Corinthians 9:7 "purposed in his heart"-"not grudgingly"-"not under compulsion" The church leaders must trust in the people hearing from God themselves 2 Corinthians 8:16 "God puts it in the heart ". Man's way has always been not to trust the people but to lay down the Law. Some can't join a local church without promising to follow the external dictates of the Old Testament law instead of following after the law written in their hearts. This is very close to charging for the word, 2 Corinthians 11:7 "preach without charge".
If I pay my 10 % I have something to boast about, yet in the body of Christ it is "by Grace and faith not by works of the law" "Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9.
The body of Christ should not be tied to religious leaders who play it safe with man controlled comfort meetings, because the church is a breathing organism not a formal institution.
Sermon notes 9:00AM April 21, 2002
As an organism I do not need to read a physiology book on digestion before I eat. The laws of digestion are written inside. I just chew, swallow and everything else comes naturally. As a formal institution we need laws, we need to learn traditions, forms, rituals etc. in order to function. Following the Old Testament law (tithing) is more consistent with a formal institution. Giving from the heart (not the head) is more consistent with a breathing organism.
It might be a comfort to man to teach the minimum amount that each Christian should give but tithing is a tax on our freedom in Christ, we should all join the tax revolt and be free, not free from giving but free in giving. God wants to inspire "miraculous giving". Even in the government's economy when taxes are reduced there is an economic boon and the government ends up getting more money.
Is it possible that if a church gives up this remnant of the law and teaches its people to give from the heart that the church's economy would increase? 2 Corinthians 8:2 "in their poverty---overflowed in liberality" 2 Corinthians 8:5 "they gave themselves to the Lord and then to us" these were poor people yet they gave a large offering, "miraculous giving".
The facts are you can't rub any two New Testament Scripture's together and get even a spark of tithing as a New Testament doctrine. 2 Corinthians 13:1 "confirmed by two or three witnesses"
Romans 8:2 we are either free from the law or we are not-you can't be a little pregnant; Galatians 5:9 a little leaven will leaven the whole loaf.
Let's look at this another way.
Ten years ago you and your spouse purchased a home in an exclusive neighborhood that had a clubhouse and pool. Part of the contract you signed for the purchase of the home included fees each month for the upkeep of the clubhouse and pool. Now you a get new job 2000 miles away. You sell the home and move to the new city and buy a new home. Three months into the new contract you receive a letter from the old property asking for the fees for the clubhouse and pool. What do you do? Of course you tell them that that contract has been satisfied and you are not under any obligation to make these payments. But if you were extremely naive about contract law and realizing that you did sign a contract to pay those fees, you send in payments faithfully, what is your benefit?
Let's say three years later you're back in the former state visiting family and you decide to go swimming on a hot August afternoon. As you drive up to the exclusive communities' swimming pool you're asked for your ID and you're informed that this pools is only for residents. It doesn't matter that you been sending in payments for three years, you don't live there and the rules concerning pool use are for residents only. Those payments were totally wasted, they were based on a contract that was fulfilled, null and void. You're only responsible for the new contract that is in force.
There might be provisions in both contracts that are similar. Like the Old and New Testaments. And if you are interested in contract law and had a copy of your first contract you could study it for information. You might find provisions in both contracts that are similar yet the only provisions that you'd be responsible for, in front of a judge, are only those spelled out in the new contract. If the new contract does not have clubhouse fees then you don't pay them. Any dictates from the old contract you try to fulfill will not help you under the new contract. If you're in default on the new contract and you bring up the fact to the judge that you're paying fees from the old contract he will think you're crazy. He will also inform you that that has nothing to do with this case. If you're in front of a judge because you are in default, the only facts important in this case are the provisions from the new contract. Any payments that go to the old contract are completely irrelevant. Its money down the drain. Jesus paid the price on the old contract 2000 years ago.
Let me summarize: the Old Testament Temple worship with its rules and regulations (tithing etc) is dead. The Temple died and gave up the ghost 2000 years ago (Matthew 27:51, Rom. 7:2). You can't beat a dead horse--. We have now moved 2000 years away from the old Temple system, why should we still pay the clubhouse fees? (Rom. 7:6) What about animal sacrifice, circumcision etc.? How much of the old system are you going to bring across to the new system? Did Christ die in vain? Was his sacrifice not enough to take care of the old contract with its rules and regulations? (Eph. 2:15, Col.2:14-23)
Money paid in tithes today could be cursed.
Let's look at a Christian couple that has been giving to the church for several years. Over the years they have been able to increase their giving up to 20 percent of their income. (Personally I believe we should be doing better than the old covenant.) The first 10 percent they give as a tithe, based on the Old Testament covenant (Leviticus 27:30), the next 10 percent they give out of love (Rom. 13:8). Look at it this way, they have divided their seed up and laid half of it on the stony tablets of the law (Rom.14:23) and planted the other half in the fertile ground of faith and love. The second 10 percent has the potential for harvest. The first 10 percent lays on the stony tablets of the law (Gal.3:12) exposed to being devoured by the birds of the air (religious spirits). Maybe some of it, because of mercy and grace, might be blown off to the surrounding soil and find root, but most of it will be exposed to the birds of the air.
The word tithe might have never come out of the lips of Paul in the New Testament unless, as many believe, he wrote Hebrews, if he did, there are only four verses concerning tithing and they are in reference to past history not present doctrine. And in the context of the old being done away with.
There are 39 different Scripture's concerning tithing in the Old and New Testament. Only 7 of those scriptures are in the New Testament and none of those teach the doctrine for New Covenant believers. Seven is the number for completion. Christ completed the old and Christ's 39 stripes paid that debt.
With the principle of the widow's mite, a New Testament believer who is in severe financial straits and gives only 3.76 % of his income, is he blessed or cursed? If he gives with a cheerful heart, in faith, he is blessed not cursed.
Under the law of tithing giving 3.76 % would put us under a curse, 9 % we would still be under the curse, 9.9999 % we would still be under the curse, 10 % then God would love us again. This is Law not Grace. Threatening the body of Christ with the curse of the law is an affront to the sacrifice of Christ, for he became a curse for us. The real curse is on those who preach another gospel for Paul never, ever taught tithing; neither did any of the other New Testament writers. So if somebody does today, they are teaching something contrary, Galatians 1:6-8 "let him be accursed" "contrary to which we preach"
It seems after 2000 years the church is afraid to completely release the Old Testament Law, "we do not yet see all things subject to him" Hebrews 2:8.
What is it about "For freedom he has set us free" that we don't understand? Romans 4:15 "where no law there is no violation."
Giving for "Dummies"
Unfortunately some will read this article and see it as an excuse not to give or to reduce their giving. I would ask that you reread this article with your heart not your head. It takes a little bit of head knowledge to calculate your tithe and it takes a little bit of head calculations to figure out how not to give. Both are cut from the same cloth (head not heart). James 2:26 "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also". If this is your mindset then you might as well tithe because you're in bondage both ways. Why not go ahead and put your seed on the stony tablets of the law, it will produce more than sticking it in a bag with holes. Haggai 1: 6 "Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes." Because if you're not a giver then you have separated yourself from God's blessing.
More than one pastor who has read the rough draft of this paper expressed their concerns that few in the church even give 10 percent, most less than 5%. Shame on the church. What is it about giving that we don't get? What is it about God that we don't understand? For God so loved the world that he gave…... John 3:16 "16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". Be imitators (followers) of God as dear children. Eph. 5:1-2: "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor." Give and it shall be given to you. Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again". It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 "I have showed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."
One day I got an impression of God handing me his wallet. But the catch was he wanted my wallet. Personally, I thought that was a good exchange. But I found some strange things about God's wallet. He had foreign currency. You had to go to the bank (enter HIS financial system) and stand in line (faith and patience, James 1:3) and exchange it for U.S. currency. Another interesting thing is that if you reached in and grabbed everything out of the wallet and then looked back in, the wallet was still full. 1 Kings 17:10-16 "So he arose and went to Warpath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah." But there was a downside, if I didn't give where God told me to give (if my wallet was stuck shut) then I had a problem opening God's wallet.
Why do you think the Bible is full of promises concerning giving? Was God trying to take up space or spice things up? Does the farmer expect to get more than he planted? When he plants one seed does he expect one seed back? Did God make natural principles to explain the spiritual? Does he expect us to understand the natural and then use that knowledge in the spiritual realm?
Let me make this simple. We are at the end times. God is getting ready for a massive revival. That's going to take big bucks. Who do think he wants to fund this revival through? What does that mean about your banking account? Would you like to have God's wallet? Then you have to have God's heart. The word "give" in one form or another is found over 1276 times in the bible. Any questions?

If really you are a pastor, do you realize the number of people suffering in the country including those at the country's remote villages? What have you done for them? Are you interested in poor people's money and you call yourself a PASTOR? How many orphans and those who can't pay their hospitals bills have you come to their aid?
As a Christian instead of you rescuing the poor souls, you are extorting them in the name of TITHE. God knows the heart of every being and knows the number of hairs on everyone's head.
Yes, the fatherless and widows who live your towns may come and eat and be satisfied. Good after collecting every money in the name of tithe from their pocket, what do you expect them to eat?
You can't force anyone on this topic.
Jesus came for the poor, he cares about the poor, Jesus did not extort monies from people to live in mansions and following WOMEN all over the places.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR FACTS FROM THE BIBLE BEFORE AND DON'T QUOTE THE BIBLE TO SUIT YOUR OWN SELFISH NEEDS AND LOVE OF MONEY.
IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO QUOTE MALACHI, IT IS PROPER TO UNDERSTAND IT FROM THE BACKDROP OF ALL THE OTHER OLD TESTAMENT QUOTATIONS ON THE SUBJECT AT HAND. YES IT IS TRUE THAT TITHING IS ONE OF THE REQUIREMENTS IMPOSED ON THE ISRAELITES; DO YOU CARE TO KNOW WHY?
HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO DELVE INTO THE EVOLUTION OF THE PRACTICE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?
YES IT IS TRUE ABRAHAM PAID TITHES TO MELCHIZEDEK (GENESIS 14:17-20);
HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO FIND OUT ABOUT WHY THE LEVITES WERE NOT GIVEN THEIR PORTION OF THE LAND WHEN JOSHUA DISTRIBUTED THE PROMISED LAND?
HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO CHECK ON THE TITHES IN DEUTERONOMY AND LEVITICUS WHEN THE TITHES WERE NOT ONLY LIMITED TO THE PRIESTS BUT TO ORPHANS, WIDOWS AND STRANGERS? (DEUT. 26:12)
TITHES AS WE HAVE COME TO HAVE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ORIGINALLY TO THE LEVITES BECAUSE THEY FOCUSED SOLELY ON GOD'S WORK; SECONDLY AND ONLY LATER TO THE OTHER CATEGORIES AS ALREADY MENTIONED.
THE ISSUE IN MALACHI THEN SHOULD BE INTERPRETED IN THE LIGHT OF ALL THE PRECEDING BIBLICAL REFERENCES ON TITHES.
PLEASE STOP INTIMIDATING THE PEOPLE OF GOD AND PREACH THE WORD OF GOD AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE PREACHED?
WHY DO YOU SPEND SO MUCH QUALITY PREACHING TIME ON TITHE?
IS IT BECAUSE THE MONEY COMES TO YOU AS THE PASTOR?
SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND ITS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS SHALL BE ADDED.
GIVE THE PEOPLE THE SIMPLE MESSAGE OF CHRIST AND HIS KINGDOM AND STOP INTIMIDATING OTHERS BECAUSE OF YOUR SELFISH INTEREST.

The author has no idea what he is talking about. Money was not a tithable commodity. Where are the scriptures to attest to what this writer is rambling about?
SOME SHOCKING TRUTHS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN TITHING DOCTRINE
Abraham never tithed on his own personal property or livestock.
Jacob wouldn’t tithe until God blessed him first.
Only Levite priests could collect tithes, and there are no Levite priests today.
Only food products from the land were tithable.
Money was never a tithable commodity.
Christian converts were never asked to tithe anything to the Church.
Christian scholars claim that Abraham’s tithing of the spoils of war predated the Law of Moses, and therefore even if the Law of Moses is done away with, tithing is still binding on Christians because Abraham predated the Law of Moses. Is this true?
And Christendom teaches that this Scripture is the first proof from the Word of God that Christians are to tithe ten percent of their salaries to the church. But what have we really learned from these Scriptures?:
Abraham went to war on behalf of Sodom (SODOM, mind you), to rescue his nephew, Lot. He then gave 10% of these spoils of war to Melchizedek, and allowed Sodom to keep 90%, while he himself kept NOTHING!
Next we will observe a Scripture that you will probably never hear a sermon on. No tithe-preaching clergyman would use the example of how Jacob tithed. Remember, Jacob is the grandson of Abraham, the father of the faithful, whom God also blessed tremendously. Not only did God approve of Jacob’s tithing proposal, but, He made it the foundational principle upon which all future tithing would be based. Here it is.
[3] Gen. 28:20-22, "And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, IF God will be with me, and [if God] will keep me in this way that I go, and [if God] will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; THEN shall the Lord be my God: And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shall GIVE ME I will surely give the TENTH unto thee."
Wow! This one Scripture pretty much contradicts 99% of all sermons I have ever heard on the subject of tithing! This is the very first Scripture in the Bible that gives an account of someone giving a tenth or tithe of his personal possessions back to God. But, oh how different it is from the teachings of most Christian Churches.
First Jacob truly recognizes God as God. He then begins to proposition God. He states that "IF" God will do this and "IF’ God will do the other things, "THEN" Jacob says, "shall the Lord be my God." Jacob concludes his proposition to God, should God meet all of his requirements, by saying that of all the things that God will first give to Jacob, Jacob will give God back a tenth. Now don’t laugh. God honored Jacob’s proposition, and furthermore, God continued to honor this same principle of tithing all through Israel’s history. As Paul said, "Now what have you which you did not obtain?" (I Cor. 4:7) All that we possess comes from God.
"And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your TITHES, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, YE and YOUR HOUSEHOLDS, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee" (Deut. 12:6-7).
"And even though there were no Levites in Jacob’s day, nonetheless, there were "...the STRANGER, and the FATHERLESS, and the WIDOW, which are within thy gates, shall come, and SHALL EAT AND BE SATISFIED; that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thin hand which thou doest" (Deut. 14:29).
That’s how God acknowledged a tithe from Jacob: By partaking of a portion himself and his family in communion and thanksgiving to God, and by sharing his fortune with those who were unfortunate, poor, strangers, etc.
[4] Leviticus 27:30-33, "And all the TITHE of the LAND, whether of the SEED of the land, or of the FRUIT, of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord. And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. And concerning the TITHE of the HERD, or of the FLOCK, even of whatsoever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord. He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it..."
We learn a great deal about tithing in this section of Scripture:
The tithe comes from the "land," not the air or the sea. Fishermen were not required to tithe fish.
It was the "seed" or agricultural products from the fields that was holy to God and tithable.
Products from "trees" were to be tithed. This not only included the fruit, but oils, etc.
Of "herds or flocks" it was the "tenth" that passed under the rod that was holy and dedicated to God.

Just consider weekly offerings, week days offerings, Kofi and Ama offerings, Monday borne and God knows which other day borne's offerings,Development offerings, Special prayers offerings, buying Church organ offerings, buying of Church drums offering and you name it offering which prophets and pastors of your kind have been subjecting Christians to. You may also care to know that when all this so called offerings are put together it may amount to twice a christian's tenth annual earnings. Now holy prophet Owusu Ansah of tithe, using quotations from the bible, what percentage of a christian's earning did God demand putting all the offering and tithe together. tithe paying today is not biblical.its a way of stealing. those so called big pastors brainwashed their members so deeply that their members feel bad if the missed a month without paying tithe to their various churches. the question is why do you preach some part of the scripture and ignore other parts.preach salvation rather than preaching tithe paying.there are a lot of people who does worst things in the church but the pastors will not complain simply because if they do they loose their membership.this is unacceptable in christian belief.

One of the channels to the Lord's heart is the paying of tithes, but the enemy Satan who is always with us, influences individuals to think that paying of tithes is an ancient norm. We who knows the benefit of paying tithes will always talk to others to also enjoy the same benefits. We are old but do not have hospital folders. Please with all sincerity let not people use the wisdom of this unpredictable world to deceive from God's blessing upon your life. Remember God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

God expects us to help the needy, the poor and the sick. We can tithe in many ways. By helping some hungry person get a meal is tithing. You don't have to tithe in such a way that will put you in a state of need. ( reference Jewish Wisdom). The law say tithe up to 10% and not 10% as required by the present day Churches. It should not only money; it could be food, clothing, or whatever one can do to help another person in need. If you apy the school fees for a needy child you have tithed before God. In the nutshell just give alms.

• No. 1 no one except Jesus ever did it.
• No.
Saved through faith,
Acts 18:13 these men want us to worship contrary to the law,
Acts 21:21 you teach to forsake Moses,
Romans 3:19 want the law says it says to those who are under the law, Romans 3:21 apart from the law is righteousness manifested,
Romans 3:27 the law of faith,
Romans 3:28 saved by faith apart from the law,
Romans 4:1-16 faith not law,
Romans 6:14 we are not under the law but under Grace,
Romans 7:4 we are dead to the law,
Romans 7:6 we are released from the law,
Romans 8:3-4 the law is fulfilled,
Romans 10:4 Christ is the end of the law,
Romans 13:8, 10 love fulfills the law,
1st Corinthians 9:20 not being under the law,
Galatians 2:16 we are not justified by the law,
Galatians 2:21 if righteousness is through the law Christ died in vain, Galatians 3:2 does the spirit comes by the law or faith,
Galatians 3:5 are miracles by law?,
Galatians 3:10 if you're under the law your under a curse,
Galatians 3:11 were not justified by law,
Galatians 3:13 we are redeemed from a curse,
Galatians 3:17-29 not by law but by faith we are linked to Abraham's blessings,
Galatians 5:3-4 we are severed from Christ if we keep the law,
Galatians 5:14 law fulfilled by love,
Galatians 5:18 we are led by the spirit thus not under the law,
Galatians 6:2 law of Christ,
Philippines 3:9 we are made right by faith not by law,
1st Timothy 1:9 law is not for righteous,
Hebrew 7:12 priesthood has changed and is necessary to change the law,
Hebrew 7:28 after the law comes the son,
Hebrew 8:6 we're under a better covenant,
Hebrew's 8:7 after the first; there is the second,
Hebrew's 8:13 the 1st has become obsolete and is ready to disappear,
Hebrews 9-10 describes the first being the law and the second being faith

Too many pastors today use Bible threats such as "Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm" in an effort to silence critics who expose their wrong deeds and doings and non-Biblical teachings. Their claim is that the critics, in that manner, speak against "a man of God". There are many references which are quoted to back this claim - Psalm 105:15; 1 Chronicles 16:22; Matthew 20:25-28. Some of the instances raised as danger of dishonouring God's anointed people are: Noah and his sons (Genesis 9:20-27); Moses and Miriam (Numbers 12:1-15); David and Saul (1 Samuel 24:1-7); Elisha and the youth (2 Kings 2:23-24). In the same vein, we read in 1 Samuel 15 of Samuel criticizing Saul (who was anointed by God to lead Israel). David, a man after God's heart, was criticized by Nathan when he was wrong. In 2 Samuel 12, we read in part: Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more! Why have you despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in His sight? You have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword; you have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the people of Ammon.' "
The rise of preachers who demand themselves a position of dictatorship and lordship over the Church of God and who defend themselves by crying: "Touch not my anointed ...." is a relatively a recent development because the pastorate has been turned into a 'new career path' and not a call from God. If a pastor continually and continuously has to remind his congregation that he is the 'man of God)then either he is not the man for the congregation or he is doing something wrong. Definitely, there would be some tares in the Church who would always, without reasonable cause, criticize the pastor; but such people would be weeded out of the Church by God Himself or minimize their influence. If you are a pastor and have to face such people in the Church, let the dead bury their dead rather than try to revive corpses and the comatose back to life. If you have a man in the pulpit who leads by fear or guilt and cannot be cajoled to reality, then you need to treat him to empty pews and offertory. This message is the silent but powerful one. If the congregation is not together, such a man would lead all of them to hell because he himself is not a candidate for heaven. 1 Peter 4:12-19 is vivid on the rights of Christians and it is fearful if we fail to stand up and be counted: "Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, 'If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?' So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good." Some pastors think because they are ordained 'by the pouring out of an anointed oil on their heads', they are on a higher pedestal and more exalted level than their parishioners. By extension, they think because of that they are to be held to a lower level of standard of conduct. Such pastors posit that because they are preachers it is inevitable that they will offend people and will not try to avoid offences because if they did, they would have to stop preaching. But let us listen to what is written in 1 Timothy 4:12: "don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." Does this support the assertion of some of these modern day pastors? In our flesh, including pastors, we all desire to dominate, desire to be pre-eminent. 3 John 9-10 says: "I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church." Such pastors cannot bear to have their deeds and ways openly examined and compares with what the Word of God teaches. The dictatorial pastor expects his membership to devote themselves entirely to his service, going round on tiptoes for fear of offending him in any way, while he feels free to offend all and robs them of their liberty (Galatians 5:1). We should not be taken in by the pretensions of these fake preachers who allege that if any of their membership dare to criticize them for their offenses, the members are considered to have committed the unpardonable sin - they have touched the Lord's anointed. Let it be clear in our minds as Christians that we are all the anointed of God - priests and kings (1 Peter 2:9). All Christians (if you prefer born again Christians)are the Lord's anointed. In Old Testament times only some believers were priests, but in this age of grace, we are all priests. Of course, the reference in Psalm 105:15 relates to physical touch or violence and not verbal attach. Pastors are to "shepherd their flock to lie down in green pastures and lead them to the still waters" and must account to the Chief Shepherd. No woman should submit to an immoral relationship or strip naked to see if she is deemed worthy to be blessed because the 'pastor' says so and she must obey. No man should feel guilty because he is trying to support his family with their minimum needs; he has to work on a Wednesday night and cannot be at a prayer meeting (where apart from the tithes and offertory on Sunday, further collections are made). The pastor should not castigate that! Where there are failings on the part of the pastor - moral failings, wild prophetic speculation, accountability for tithes, false claims of receiving direct revelations from God, bizarre false teachings, unethical fund raising tactics, waste of Church's funds to purchase ostentatious luxury items - to these the congregation must stand up and drive him away from the Church or demonstrate with empty pews or empty offertory. We owe tremendous amount of courtesy to all of God's preachers (those who are called by the Lord and not those who called themselves or are called by men). We also have an obligation not to oppose or criticize them in an improper and un-scriptural manner. But they have the same obligation of courtesy to all Christian laymen, who are also the Lord's anointed.. Let us all return to the scriptural state of things in which all Christians are equal, having one Master, even Christ. "You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings." (1 Corinthians 7:23).
Let us receive the blessings of the Lord: The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. (Deuteronomy 28:8-13). AMEN!

Worshipping God comes from the heart not your pocket Pastor Ansa.
God does not need our money, he owns everything in this world. He instituted the law of Tithing as a means to take care of the vulnerable and the needy in society at that time. It wasnt for his own needs.
Thank You.

the false prophets and sakawa pastors don't play with tithe. This is where their money comes from. See all the lies prophet Ansa is spewing to put fear in us so he can get his money. Sadly though, many are swayed by these greedy pastors. Take for instance the church of Pentecost, all the ,members have been brainwashed to pay tithe. Many gullible and desperate Christians are giving their hard-earned money to these charlatans.

Here we go again! Prof Owusu Ansah, where do millions of tithe your congregation have contributed including that of anniversaries upon anniversaries and donations gone? Are you using those tithe to manage the lives of the destitutes in your church or as a man of God you call yourself you feel comfortable using the monies the poor in your church have contributed to care for yourself and your family daily lives? Is it not the same tithe you use to buy porsche cars eating well thus leaving your flocks hungry? IS THAT THE ESSENCE OF TITHE you are marketing?
How many poor people in the country have you EVER DINNED WITH? You can't force all numbers to A SINGLE NUMBER?
STOP THIS SCAM MARKETING it is against the WILL OF GOD!
Many don't know the meaning of tithe and those who know it, understand that Tithes must remain in the Church to care for the needy welfares and develop the church. Is that we see by contributing tithe today? Please Owusu Ansah, HE HONEST TO YOURSELF AND STOP CURSING EVERYBODY. IT IS A SHAME FOR A CHRISTIAN TO CURSE.

you started of well with quoting Malachi to proof the biblical record of tithing but everything else you tried to argue the relevance of tithing to Christians was just based on assumptions and your own canal understanding..
Now these are the facts; tithing, circumcision, animal sacrifice and even killing of entire people (men, women & children) was decreed by God under the old convenant (convenant between God and the seed of Abraham_you and I are gentiles and not party to that).
(Heb. 8:13)under the new convenant through Jesus' Crucifixion for reconciling all men (gentile and Jew to God)by which Christianity begun there is no record in your bible nor mine that Jesus or any of His followers paid or collected tithe...when Jesus needed money to pay his tax he had to ask Peter to catch a fish and pick coins from the mouth of the fish.
When Jesus had to advice the rich he always asked them to sell what they have and give to the poor (he could has advised tithing if that matters) .."‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’...
the early Christians gave offerings to help the ministry not tithe, some even gave more than their ability..sold their lands and properties and brought everything (100%) to share with those who didn't have and no one lack..
keep on telling your congregation you are the levite of our time_when being a levite is by birth (Levi's descendants) and not by calling, remember God killed Uzzah who thought with his carnal mind that saving the Ark from falling was a good thing to do even though he was't of the Levi ethnic group permitted by God to touch His holy things...

Kindly explain who levites are now and what work they are doing?Jesus gave a class of people he will reject one day when he comes and people who did not pay tithes were not among them.Again can we compare the current men of God and riches in which they swim to the situation of levites in the Bible?Does tithes from sinners or armrobbers make them good people before God.What will pastors who rich by vertue of their own hardwork need the tithe for ?Are all the blessing from paying tithe as enumerated the only reason for accepting Christ? If you pay tithe and refuse to do good to the orphans, widows and so many marginalised persons be considered enough? We cannot dispute what the Bible says but let God speak to the hearts of people on the issue of tithes because orphans and the marginalised today will surely need more than the levites and let Levites work to provide for themselve as the apostles did than waiting for tithes to make a living. God blesses a cheerful giver which means blessings will surely bless cheerful givers who support a good cause.Jesus was clear about his rejection of people who did not help their brethren when in trouble. Hands that do not work should not eat period.

Mar 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Tithing is not a subject which is generally given a second thought. It is what it is but that is where the New Testament Church is and has been wrong!
On the other side of the coin is the problem that the local church "always" needs more money because it exist at the end of its finances most all of the time. If they are given ten bucks they use all ten bucks. As a Not For Profit organization, at the end of the year it can show a profit and this is a hard concept to teach most Pastors or church Boards. Remember that Judas was the Treasurer for Y'shua's ministry. He would not have needed one if He didn't have money to account for. He didn't spend all that was given to Him, He took it with Him and spent it as "needed". We never hear of Y'shua paying for lodging, food or transportation but we can assume that He must have at some point but He didn't have the fine robes that many a Pastor has today. He didn't stay at the Carlton Ritz and He didn't ride in a Mercedes accept once...
Mat 21:1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
Mat 21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
Mat 21:3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
The Jewish Priests still accept the Tithe because they still live in the Original Covenant and do not yet accept the New Covenant. The Catholic Priests still accept the Tithe but they still see Y'shua hanging on the cross.
2 Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Why then Pastor are you "requiring" the Tithe rather than teaching your congregation to give "Cheerfully"?
The "Average Pastor" today, in most Western cultures, has a lifestyle that Y'shua would call "far from average"!

Hi prophet Owuso, I thank God for your eargerness to please and serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This ought to be done in truth and in flesh. In Malachi God was addressing the nation of Israel who where under the Old covenant. Are we in agreement thus far. In The new Testament we are now under the new covenant through Christ's death and resurrection. Christ fulfilled all the law because no-one could fulfilled it. The Israelites in the OT and the JEWS in the NT, all failed.still in agreement!!! No where in the NEW testament do you see Christ telling the church to tithe. No where do you see the apostles tithing or asking any believer to tithe! if you find please show me. what we see in the book of Acts is the believers brought everything together(no tithe mentioned!!!). let me back up a little. From Matthew to John, this is known as the Gospel, Christ is active in his ministry, the chruch hasn't started yet, so they are still under the law and fully obeying the law; that's why Jesus tells the pharisees who are neglecting weightier issues of justice but who do tithe faithfully... He tells them do tithe and also do see to justice(mATT 23:23). THEY ARE STILL UNDER THE LAW. most people use that as an argument for the NT believer to tithing. THAT'S IS TWISTING THE WORD AND LACKING UNDERSTANDING!the New covenant believer is nowhere called to tithe. however we are called to give and generously and abundantly and consistently(just read corinthians for that matter)What then can we learn from Malachi 3:10, if the Israelites under the law tithed with a minimum of 10%, the new beleiver who has been freed in Christ is called to give to the measure of the grace He has received! In other words it is our deeper love and understanding of grace that prompts us to give more and more and more... So prophet, before you are preaching God's word, make sure you have a good understanding of God's word because we,leaders, are going to be judged more severely for misleading people. If you don;t know or are unsure of a particular teaching.. take time to learn. it is only for your good.We need to learn to understand God's word in context first before trying to apply it to our lives. We CANNOT pull out a verse and start saying this is what God is saying!!! really, are you sure! the bible calls us to rightfully divide the word of truth. It takes time to grow spiritually.even in our devotionals we need to be carfull not to take verses out of context. I think I will end here. personally I don't believe in TITHING, it is not for the New covenant believer, I believe in GIVING!!! As pastors we need to stop intimidating our congregation on tithing because our income comes from it. Nope, God is our porvider. However we need to teach people on Giving; this will set them free and pastor will be blessed and their churches will grow qualitatively and in quantity.

Tithing was under and is under the law with a curse for Christians seeking salvation under the law,Leviticus27:1-34,Malachi 3:1-18.When bishops, pastors, elders, and priests humbly teach falsehood by quoting tithes in Malachi 3:1-18,under the law IN OLD COVENANT which was a prime contribution for the Levite tribe and Leviticus Priesthood, how many Christians line up to be served with food when tithes and offering under the law are given? Is the storehouse pastors' and priests' house or the Church being the bride and body of Jesus Christ? Saved Christians by grace IN NEW COVENANT who are lead and taught by the Holy Spirit are not under law or in generation curse in the law, Ephesians 2:4-9. Tithes in Malachi 3:1-18 were primarily for the tribe of Levi which was not allocated land for sharing among themselves , Numbers 18:20-28 . Those who simply imply Christians are under curse for not tithing put into question about unfinished work of redemption (SALVATION) by Christ Jesus on cross of Calvary which is bought and maintained continuously in tithes paid to them. Those who are of work of the law are under curse Galatians 3:3-13.Yet Christ is not ashamed to call us brethren whom He has redeemed and sanctified. Hebrew 2:9-13.We have been redeemed from the curse of the law, Jesus Christ being made a curse for us : for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree. Christians saved by grace are able ministers of the new testament born of love with exceeding glory which surpassed the glory that was in law with Moses.
Offerings made in Christian Churches are for ministering the Body of Jesus Christ. We have been redeemed from the curse of the law to adoptions of sons in Royal Priesthood from the time the curtain partitioning the Holy of Holies was torn apart in into two when Jesus Christ was crucified and gave us free access to God our Father, Mathews 27:50-52. Pastors ,Priest and Bishops who are servants of God cannot subject sons of God in Royal Priesthood to tithe taxes which is absolutely illegal for we are not under the curse of the law, Galatians 5:1-26, Galatians4:4-5,2 Corinthians 3:1-18.Christ abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances and we are built upon the foundations of the apostles and prophets ,Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone,Ephesians213-20. Christians are under Spiritual law of Love .Sins sacrifices ,offerings under the law, curses, and generation curses under law in the old covenant remained up to death of Jesus Christ on Calvary when. He fulfilled the prophecy and requirements of the law. The law is not of faith and we are redeemed from under law to adoptions of sons.Galatians4:4-5.Galatians2:16. Salvation under the law one attains it at last breath on earth having done all that pertains to the law which is hard for one to accomplish, Galatians3:8-3. Even the tithe which was given by Abraham was under the law of sin and death from the fallen state of Adam and Eve at the garden of Aden. Those who lie would like to deceive Christians that tithe was before the law but before which law.
When Christ our High Priest was born He was given gifts and not tithes Mathew 2:11-12. Jesus Christ our High Priest and Apostles of Jesus Christ did not ask for tithes. To whom do they pay allegiance to for them to justify asking for tithes today? Salvation under spiritual law of love by grace is freely given and attained with free miracles from God our Father, Ephesians 2:4 -9, Ephesians 2:13 -20. Under Leviticus priesthood which belonged to the tribe of Levi, tithes were given to Levites priests for use by the whole tribe of Levi and tithe of tithe to the high Priest for they shared no land apart from the walled towns they were allocated to stay in for their continuous sacrifice to God, Numbers 18:20 -29. Widows, strangers ,fatherless and orphans benefited from tithes and offerings given to Levites, Deuteronomy 14:22-29.In Christianity widows were asked to be catered by close brethren to ease burden to the Church. There were also tithes of different kinds in Israel. There was also a tithe where a family had to eat all before the Lord, Deutreronomy12:6-7. In Christ Jesus we are saved by grace to adoptions of sons in Royal Priesthood of Christ (for Christians saved by grace )and not by works of law under curse ,Galatians 3:8-13,Acts13: 38-39, Galatians 4: 4-5, Galatians2:16-21, Galatians 5:18. Sons have direct access to the Father and free common inheritance not bought or worked for from the Father. For servants ( Pastors and Priests) are servants of God worthy all respects and due help. Much preaching is done in grace and love to Christians at early stages who are later sleekly entangled and enslaved in fear under the bondage of law in tithes emphatically taught by many in seeking dwindling fortune entrenched in tithes falsehood. The Church of Christ is founded in love by grace and a worker is worthy his labor. We do not expose the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ to poverty for not tithing.
The Apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ understood from onset of Christ's Ministry that they were not under Leviticus Priesthood and had no share in Leviticus Priesthood allotments. Thus questions were raised of their take and benefits in the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ Ministry in the New Covenant, Mathew 19:23-30 . Leviticus Priesthood which was upheld under the glory and the righteousness of law without partiality had allotments which existed before well-known and were already defined in obliged tithing. God had also to deal with wayward priesthood and a rebellious nation under the law. Malachi 2:1-17, Malachi 3:1-18. Christians were never left under leadership of Leviticus Priesthood. Christians are humbly called upon to support tithes sweetened falsehood purposed to enhance good glorious intentions communicated a smart way which forms practically some mega success which should not divert Christians from free spiritual giving. The essence of Christians righteousness in salvation by grace in the Loyal Priesthood of Jesus Christ is more falsely tied to tithes by the clergy and the bar raised often higher as they become masters of confusion in tithes falsehood teaching cover up. Even Judas Iscariot is not recorded asking for tithes. We firmly stand by the truth our mouths being boldly louder and we faint not as we manifest the truth to man’s conscience to God without honoring personality clout in uncovering tithes falsehood taught,2Corinthians 4:1-2.They keep asking what is wrong with us to be at pains on tithes forced falsehood treasured? There is nothing wrong with us and we have wronged no one except those who stumble on the plain truth who want to appease in altered falsehood. Isaih5:18-24, 18Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: 19That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it! 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him. Those who want to justify doctrinal falsehood on tithes for Christians have successfully done it.
IN NEW TESTAMENT two priesthood are compared and the need to replace the Old Covenant expounded. Hebrew7: 7-28, Hebrew8:6 -13, Hebrew 9:6-9, Hebrew 10:8-23. Surprisingly the comparison intended in verses referred to under Old Covenant are false fully endorsed as justification for tithes as the purposed comparison intention between the old Covenant and the New Covenant for better choice is cunningly phased out in a hoodwink halve way scripture reading crafted from the pulpit. A flood gate of falsehood is humbly opened from the pulpit of quoting scriptures out of content and contest. Leviticus priesthood under the law with tithes, death, discontinuity and its acceptance under glory of the law without the great commission was done away in Christ Jesus and the Holy Priesthood of Jesus Christ without tithes, death and discontinuity with exceeding glory that excel in New Covenant under which Christians are in salvation being a Holy nation and Loyal Priests with a duty to preach to the world GOD being their Father in New Covenant Ministry. We cannot turn the grace of our God unto lust. Jude1:4. In that He said, a new covenant He has made the first old. Now that which decays and waxed old is ready to vanish away Hebrew8:6-13.
God related with Adam and Eve in the garden of Aden under command of not eating from tree of knowledge and evil , Abraham related to God in faith when he was called out of Ur. The Israel related to God under law given to Moses under old the Covenant and we saved Christians relate to God under Spiritual law of love by grace in Jesus Christ in New Covenant where we get our salvation. Tithing weakens the Royal Priesthood of Christians in Jesus Christ where Christians are supposed to give themselves as living sacrifice in the mission vision fields. The Christians Royal Priesthood in Christ Jesus is internally weekend from within ,fought and economically drained mostly for indoors ministries under revival of Leviticus priesthood meticulously merged into the Royal Priesthood by pastors for selfish hidden gains . The Royal Priesthood is internally spiritually emaciated and trodden upon.2 Corinthians2:1-13, 2Peter 2:5-9. Priesthood involves sacrifices and Jesus Christ did not choose Priesthood among the five fold ministry since all saved Christians are in the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ and we have been asked to give ourselves as a living sacrifice to God since we are the royal priests.
The priesthood was changed from the Old Covenant( Leviticus Priesthood under law based on waiting at the sanctuary for sacrifices ) to the New Covenant (in the Loyal Priesthood of Jesus Christ of labour in the Harvest field of Christ without tithes allocations which is not appreciated) and the law governing it was changed Hebrews 7:7-12. Christ requested His disciples to give the crowd food to eat , Matthew 14:15-16. Jesus Christ told Peter look after his lambs and later to look after His sheep ( service) in clear shift from Leviticus priesthood which does not apply to Christians, John 21:15-17. JESUS CHRIST our High Priest is the mediator of the better New Covenant established upon better promises. Hebrew8:6-8. Under Leviticus priesthood an animal for sacrifice was alive between the altar of sacrifice and the Levite priest holding the sacrificial knife. Sheep remained alive for a period of time only when they were delivered many animals for sacrifice and the altar could not hold them all for sacrifice .We are dead to sin and alive in Christ who live in us being a living sacrifice to God. Christians saved by grace in love of Christ Jesus in Royal Priesthood within the New Covenant cannot be dragged back to curses enslavement in the law in Leviticus Priesthood in Old Covenant. The Royal Priesthood of labor of service in Christ Jesus is loathed by many clergy who opt for Leviticus Priesthood of waiting at the sanctuary for provision given for altar sacrifices. It is only through concealed falsehood that the clergy merge the Leviticus Priesthood under law in old Covenant ( which remained hostile to Christians), with the Royal Priesthood by grace in Christ love liberated in New Covenant. The Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ in liberty bears no self-restrictions or inhibitions in fear of men in preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since it has no people driven demand support pegged on expectations anchored under the law. Christians should give liberally in love as God has blessed us ,2 Corinthians9 :6-7, Galatians 5:1. Galatians6:6-10.
Tithes crusaders teach well packaged tithes falsehood from the pulpit managed humbly in sheep skins. Christians are increasingly facing common mounted front in tithes falsehood which is demanded by elites clergies as a Christian doctrine in Churches. It is easy for many unsuspecting Christian to take it as the Gospel truth. The remnant few faithful Christians must firmly remain in the narrow highway of faith and teach Christian doctrine on giving bearing in mind they stand on highways of interests of elites clergies on tithes falsehood taught with awkward elite professional church elders support . The humble craving of comfortable falsehood artistically and passionately taught on tithes by the clergy should not make Christians lose focus in Christian giving in love. Bishops, pastors, priests, church elders and those read the OLD TESTAMENT( Old Covenant ) BLINDED BY THE VAIL that is in law that was done away in Jesus Christ keep Christians in fear of curses under bondage of law which was abolished by Jesus Christ and miss the righteousness in liberty sanctified in Jesus Christ in the New Covenant,2Corithians3: 6-18 . Successful prosperity based on falsehood cannot be accepted as a measure of blessing in holiness. Truth is easily dismissed but never nullified on tithes falsehood openly taught by the clergy. Christians must remain Pentecostal and evangelical in the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ without entangling themselves in Leviticus Priesthood bound in bondage of the law. We are persuaded of better things in our work of liberty in love in salvation by Grace for God is not unrighteous to forget our work and labour of love , Hebrew6:9-12, Galatians 5:1, 18. IF SAVED CHRISTIANS WHO ARE LOYAL PRIESTS (clergy under Loyal Priesthood of Jesus Christ) ARE SUBJECTED BACK TO THE LAW,THEN THEY SHOULD SURELY EQUALLY SHARE TITHES WITH THE CLERGY FRATERNITY. Christ came to not to destroy the law and the prophets but to fulfill so as the enmity that was against us in the law was abolished on the cross. Falsehood is taught that Christ came to strength the law. A way in love by Grace in Jesus Christ’s love for mankind was established for our salvation after Christ fulfilled the prophecy and the law and He defeated the enmity of law that was against us.
Without fulfilled prophesy and the law there would be no room for grace. Before HIS DEATH THE LAW WAS UPHELD TO THE LETTER .Mathew5:17-19, Ephesians 2:4—20. He paved the narrow highway of righteousness in salvation by grace, Isaiah35:1-10. Tithes falsehood nullifies grace and love bestowed on them by Jesus Christ. Those who want to seek salvation under law with curses of the law should continue in glory of the law and fulfill the whole law without entangling salvation by grace in Christ’s love with law in any lewd manner since the glory in law in old testament at fault (where God found faults with them) was to be done away and was abolished, 2Corinthians 3:1-18 Galatians2:16-21, Galatians3:1-13 ,Galatians4:4-5, Hebrew8:6-13. The Church( Royal Priests) of Jesus Christ is established by grace in Christ’s love in the glory of the NEW TESTAMENT that excels in liberty under the New Covenant . Christians must move forward wholly Spiritually Holy away from all forms of non-doctrinal spiritual slavery exploitation honored and established for Christ is the of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes, Roman12:1-2 . It is quite amazing how the so called spiritual clergies who bear tithes compliance records can overlook tithes falsehood over their shoulders and tell Christians that tithing is the best way of starting giving though they agree it is not instructed in the New Covenant. We are engaged from within in the last days spiritual battle field against tithes as a Christian doctrine and have defiantly crossed the red line on dear tithes falsehood threshold upheld, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
Levites Pastors and Priests are comfortable and friendly to brethren who live like dead sacrifice with almost free access to tithes. Levites priests were to labor to sacrifice and not tendering the flocks or do any farming or even trade, Numbers 18:20-32 Joshua7:7.They lived in walled towns .Pastors and Priests who revive the Leviticus priesthood removed by Christ for Christians and meticulously merge it to the Loyal Priesthood of Christ do so for personal gains in mass coordinated concealed cheating in tithes allocations championed by elites Christians. The old covenant had amassed personal sought atonement for sins through animals sacrifices but the new covenant has atonement for sins in Christ's blood. Leviticus priesthood under law remained hostile to the Ministry of Jesus Christ and His disciples who suffered in their hands even after Christ’s death, Mathew 27:12-17. Levite High priests, Levites priests and elders beat and wanted to kill all disciples of Christ whom they told not to preach in His name. Acts 5:17-42. Today Levite clergy tell Christian that their salvation by grace is not complete without paying them tithes which is a lie. Let well educated brethren teach the Word of God the same way as learned Doctor Luke and Br. Paul did for spiritual growth of the body of Christ. Let well educated Christians stand for justice like Dr. Gamaliel who was a doctor of law who in his response rescued the apostles from eminent death in the hands of Levite priests Acts;5:17-42.
What pastors are not telling the Church (the bride/sons/ ambassadors / royal priests, and ministers of the new covenant in the Word/children and servants made friends by His Holy calling) is the reason Jesus Christ had in choosing the twelve disciples ( under New Covenant in Grace ) and opted not to use the Levite Priests (in Old Covenant under law) that were well established and placed had they to be chosen preach to the world. LET PASTORS , BISHOPS AND PRIESTS HONESTLY PURGE THEIR HEARTS AND SPEAK THE TRUTH ON TITHES. CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW IN THE OLD COVENANT. The intrigue of doctrinal falsehood on tithes smartly engineered and flamboyantly taught by them worldwide cannot be justified or be cleansed by their religious social status. Christians should not be for entertainments but for truth in Holiness preached and taught which is not in contest in numerical strength for acceptance. It quite clear from the Bible that there is no perfection and justification under works of the law. Galatians 2:16- 21, Galatians 3:8-13,Galatians 4;4-5,Galatians 5:1,18. FOR CHRISTIANS GOD HAS NO PLEASURE FOR SACRIFICES AND OFFERINGS AND BURNT OFFERINGS AND OFFERINGS FOR SINS AND FOR WHICH IS OFFERED UNDER THE LAW. HEBREW 10: 8-9 . THIS SCRIPTURE THEY WOULD WISH IT NEVER EXISTED. Can those who advocate for tithes honestly deny openly that there were sacrifices and offerings under law not acceptable to God for Christians in NEW COVENANT? Tithes advocates call Christians passionately to tithe an illustration of spiritual disconnect to bridge. WHY WOULD THE CLERGY NOT TELL CHRISTIANS TO SACRIFICE FOR THEIR SINS BUT TITHE? Selective preaching and teaching on tithes falsehood cover up still remains. Tithes falsehood taught has remained guarded and guided in shrewd cover up of honored fortune justification hidden in tithes falsehood teaching proliferation by professional Christians.
Christians must know the truth to be free and move from being trapped in greatly justified tithe doctrinal falsehood taught ,Ephesians4:11-14. In law in Old Covenant men remained the instructors and enforcers of the law. In new covenant the Holy Spirit remains our Wonderful Teacher and Counselor in Grace. For sure those who are in bondage of the law have men appreciation at hand but those lead by the Holy Spirit in Liberty within the yoke of Jesus Christ in grace have the acceptance of God. Christians should not be held spiritually hostage by unifying falsehoods taught in concealed falsehood out of labor. This would be spiritual blindness and slavery for many Christians hard for some to overcome. Apostles did not teach and preach the Gospel Of Jesus Christ through deceptive greediness but by sound doctrines, 2Peter:1-3. Christians taught for doctrines the commandments of men replace Jesus Christ for men who become their gods (idol worship based on men). They admire them for their earthly great achievements and they testify much of their stardom. Mathew 15: 5-9. There is the church of men where men teach for doctrines commandments of men and Church of Jesus Christ which cannot be swallowed by institutionalized organized falsehood and greed concealed in justified and satisfied false knowledge which is not in the True Word of God. Even those workers of iniquity with miracles shall not cheat and defeat the church of Christ since He holds the Church in His holy hands in due time. Matthew15:8-9. The gates of hell shall not prevail over the Church of Jesus Christ. Mathew16:18. The Church of Christ cannot live by glorious commandments instituted by men standards. Christians must break free and be clean from all men commandments enslavement. Christians' true love and care will then freely flourish. Christians should not feel comfortable for being appreciated for accepting and supporting goals of concealed falsehood taught through feigned words in covetousness to make merchandise of us,2 Peter2:1-3.
Falsehood clarified and justified in concealed covetousness is hard for many Christians to overcome. Many Christians plunged globally into tithe doctrinal falsehood and held spiritually captive by clergy that are Levites require spiritual rescue and deliverance. The Church must wrestle herself free from shrewd elite spiritual con-men who keep the Church of Jesus Christ under bondage of the law. The tithe given by Abraham in faith in God and tithes given by Israel under the law given to Moses are not in the Royal Priesthood in new Covenant of Jesus Christ put under carpet by tithes crusaders. Tithe given by Abraham to Melchisedec had no third party human usage tied to it. Tithes given under the laws had personal usage, third party human usage and were used by the Levites Priests and the Levites tribe. Windows ,orphans and strangers benefited from the tithes offerings and offerings received by the Levite priests. To quote the first tithe given out of war by Abraham the father of faith to justify tithes given by the Royal priests (Saved Christians by Grace ) is more mischievously misleading even when tied to helping the spread of the Gospel Jesus Christ a self- righteousness imposed requirement under men’s law for doctrine. Jesus Christ did not allocate tithes to spreading of the Gospel in the hands of Levites Priests and Pastors who are taking Christians Spiritually for a ride. Success built on falsehood should not dampen Christians quest for truth and justice in holiness without deceit. For many to hear the truth that tithe is not a Christian doctrine in the ROYAL PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, it is like venom to them.
The only option left for them is to rush to the final line of defense and hid under falsehood by using well endorsed and educated elite Christians to teach humbly tithes falsehood escalation with well loaded professional cover up backing. Let the clergy deny openly falsehood on tithes taught and not use third parties blinded by the veil in reading the old testament that was removed by Jesus Christ for a cover up, 2Corinthians 3:1-18. Truth is easily dismissed but never nullified. Christians should not embrace scheduled resourceful falsehood taught in honor from the PULPIT. Christian Churches must remain Sanctuaries of true love in grace instituted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God calls us to the holy mountain of reasoning in liberty of faith in Christ Jesus, Isaiah 1:18-20, Galatians5:1, 18. The implication of self-imprisonment by Christians in men’s law for doctrines is spiritually devastating. The glory achieved is the glory of men. Faith without work is dead but work in the Holy Faith in Christ Jesus is not bound by the law.
We are not men’s servants. Can the Church (Royal priests) gather spiritual strength and free herself from the grip of able energetic Leviticus priesthood? 1Corithians 6:20, 1 Corinthians 7:21-24, 1Peter1:8:25. We are redeemed with a price the blood of Jesus Christ to give ourselves as a living sacrifice whereby we establish the law fulfilled by Him Through The Righteousness Of The law Of Faith In Jesus Christ, being justified freely from sins in His blood by Grace to liberty from the bondage of the law,Roman3:1-31, Roman12: 1-2, Galatians2:16-21, James 2:17-26. We are the Royal Priests at liberty commissioned to preach to the world and we cannot sell our Spiritual birth right so easily engaged, Galatians5:1,13, James1:25 2corithians3:17. Finally all they have is to diminish and assert that the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ is meant for families.
They are amazed and bitter for we stand for Christ without seeking their favour or consultation on tithes issues without joining the sweeping sweat wave in teaching tithes falsehood benefits acclaimed. The way some have reacted vilely to those who are opposed to tithe as a doctrinal falsehood for Christians shows well from the comfort of their hearts that they are deeply dismayed and battered by the truth and have realized they are known on cheating on tithes fortunes acclaimed. It befit us well to be called Christians of low estate with little minds rattling for we have not been soothed smoothly cool to support tithes falsehood taught in order for us to fit perfectly in the will of Jesus Christ with no regrets. We are satisfied with what God has provided us without gains of falsehood. We do not clamor for glamorous wealth of falsehood taught. They have stood as heroes in championing tithing as a way getting blessings for Christians from God which we have totally disagreed with them which they took as affront to their spiritual dignity clout. They have degraded the Royal Priesthood of Christ and nullified grace and love of Christ to themselves. We are aware there are spiritual babies on milk and feeble who are tossed to and fro by every kind of doctrines who have not come to the full knowledge of truth. It will be unjust to us if do not take spiritual care of them and love them in Christ's love, Hebrew5: 13-14.
Those asking for revelation on tithes are asking for undeserved free room of manipulation to lie. Their theoretical assumption on tithes as the only easy way of meeting Church needs requirements through tithes justified falsehood taught to Christians saved by grace deserve spiritual analyses with no regrets. Blessing and curses dealt with in tithes in old covenant are clear to those who seek truth in clear knowledge of wisdom. The same is theoretically assumed and taught on Abel offering being accepted because he offered animal sacrifice and burnt fats as sweat savor to God. Cain offering was not accepted just because were seeds and fruits. Abel chose the best and considered the even age of his sacrifice offered to God. No special sacrificial preparation on Cain offering was dedicated to God. Cain did not pay deserved attention on what he offered to sacrifice to God. God told him if he did well his offering would be accepted. God did not tell Cain to replace his offering with animal sacrifice. He was to do well to his offering for his acceptance and offering. Genesis 4:1--7. Cain offering had no respect for God and God had no regards for it. CEREALS AND FRUITS WERE NOT REMOVED FROM BEING OFFERED IN THE OLD COVENANT.
THEY LIE IN WAIT TO DECEIVE MANY UNSUSPECTING BELIEVERS NOT KNOWING WHAT THEIR ARE TAUGHT MANY TIMES HAD BEEN DISCUSSED IN COUNCILS OF MEN FOR UNIFORMITY AND NOT WITH THE HOLLY SPIRIT. IF TITHES WERE TO BE APPLICABLE AND JUSTIFIABLE IN THE NEW COVENANT ,ALL TITHES SHOULD BE SHARED EQUALLY AMONG ALL BRETHREN SINCE WE ARE THE ROYAL PRIESTS MINISTERING THE NEW COVENANT. The tithe burden is not for Christians . Let Bishops ,Pastors, Priests and Church Elders handle the Church of Christ within Christians doctrines established by Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Apostles in the mission field vision. CHRISTIANS MUST FACE AND ADDRESS THE MASS SWEEPING AND SOOTHING FALSEHOOD TAUGHT BY SOME WELL EDUCATED ELITE CHRISTIANS ABOUT TITHES BENEFITS AND BLESSINGS IN A SOBER SPIRITUAL REALITY FACE OUT. Tithes teaching is unexpected real falsehood investment from those held dearly in trust by many Christians who regard them us spiritual leaders. The situation becomes more murky and tricky when church elders are accomplished in the classic falsehood which puts the church into mental slavery. The Royal Priesthood in grace is quite different from Leviticus Priesthood under the law. Leviticus Priesthood in the old covenant belonged to the Levite tribe among the eleven tribes in Israel but the Royal Priesthood in the new covenant under oppression and suppression belongs to all brethren in the world in Christ Jesus ( the Church being the bride of Christ / the body of Christ) who are able ministers of the new covenant commissioned to preach to the world.
Irrelevant testimonies are given of blessed Christians even who gave beyond 70% and remained richly blessed to encourage giving beyond 10% for more blessings. Having given 70% and being left with 30% translates to millions of dollars left for their personal use. The same 70% if applied by Christians of minimal income will leave them in the cold without basics needs requirements being meet. They have encouraged Christians even to give beyond the law requirement to appear more spiritual. This is bound to impoverish Christians who will appear to have enmity with God in their old age. When the Government taxation is at 30% and the pastors at 10% without being end of requirement to give, almost 50% income is gone from the Christians who are offered weekly prayers for prosperity and blessings. How committed will these Christians be us Royal Priests to the great commission at grass root levels? Tithing is more emphasized to salaries without shame. Some have tragically wished Christians not to be employed who do not tithe to them. It would be sheer spiritual tragedy for Christians to become submissive hopeful prisoners under falsehood taught by the humble ever promising Leviticus clergy blinded by veil in bondage under law in the old covenant, Galatians 31-13, Galatians 5:1. Christians cannot buy salvation from the hands of the clergy under yard stick of salvation justification in tithes set by the clergy.
It is quite easy to justify tithes falsehood based on easily acquired wealth which meet the church needs which operates under Leviticus Priesthood. The Royal Priesthood in grace is quite different from Leviticus Priesthood under the law. Leviticus Priesthood in the old covenant belonged to the Levite tribe among the eleven tribes in Israel but the Royal Priesthood in the new covenant under oppression and suppression belongs to all brethren in the world in Christ Jesus ( the Church / the body of Christ) who are ministers of the new covenant commissioned to preach to the world. The Royal Priesthood is well placed to reach the world more effectively at close quarters in Christ love and glory expected. It is quite unfortunate that Christians unknowingly are victims of systematic unmarked high professional intellectual falsehood commercialization cover up in tithes teaching by learned elites Christians brethren which is a total disservice to the (church) body of Christ. But Christians have been warned not to be fools since for some preaching and teaching falsehood is a smart act energetically engaged and Christians are openly conned .Ephesians 5:15-16. Tithing under law impoverishes the Royal Priesthood of Christ physically and spiritually which make the Great commission less effective. When all saved Christians are in Royal Priesthood, to whom do you tithe to in the in New Covenant? The Royal Priesthood needs to take its place in Christian missions empowered in New Covenant for Christians to work in glory of Christ love intended for the body of Christ. It quite clear from the Bible that there is no perfection and justification under works of the law. Galatians 2:16- 21, Galatians 3:8-13,Galatians 4;4-5, Galatians 5:1,18. Hebrew 10;8-9. Jesus Christ and his twelve disciples did not ask for tithes but only comments were made on tithes under the law. As early church had needs equally relevant to their time and did not ask for tithes, we too have needs relevant to our time which require sacrificial offerings to solve problems but no through tithes offerings under the law with a curse. Saved Christians ( The Body of Christ /Church/ Royal Priests) are able ministers of the new testament of the spirit and not of the law which is not sorely the burden of the clergy as some would like us to believe in their theoretical tithes justification support for the clergy and meeting Church needs requirements, 2Corithians 3:6 .
A fountain cannot produce sweet and bitter water the same time. James 3:8-18. A new piece of cloth does not patch an old cloth nor do men put new wine in old bottles. Matthew 9:16-17. And with the priesthood changed there was need of changing the law governing it. Our royal priesthood in Christ Jesus is not after law of carnal commandment but after power of endless life Hebrews 7:7-26 .We Christian are saved by GRACE IN CHRIST LOVE(Spiritual Law) for we cannot be subjected to carnal law of sin and death crucified and done away by Christ on cross of Calvary. We are subjected to spiritual law of life in New Covenant in Christ Jesus and ought to have the spiritual understanding of the Word of God in liberty without corrupting the Word of God. Roman 8:1-2, Colossians 1:9-10. As God has blessed us in common inheritance of the saints, we should give sacrificially as we have purposed in our hearts in liberty and in love, Galatians 5:1, 2Corinthians 9;6-7, Galatians 6:6-7, Hebrew6:6-12,Hebrew13:11-16. Christ taught spiritual giving to God and to our parents, Luke 6:8 ,Matthew15:5-9. Paul also taught the same .2Corinthians 9:6-14, Philippians 2:4-5. Aaron was given unto Moses, the Levite priests were given unto Aaron, the eleven tribes of Israel were given unto Levite tribe to serve them but we Christians are purchased through the blood of Christ we are no man servants but servants of Christ 1Corinthians 7:21-2 ,God is our Father and our readily help in times of needs and not men. We are warned not to call any man our father in the spirit. Mathew23:9. Some have made men their fathers and call them fathers turning them their gods on earth. Numbers 3:9-15.
No servant can hinder children access to the Father and His blessed inheritance. Are pastors, priest and Bishops in the Royal Priesthood of Christ or are in the Leviticus priesthood? Who coordinate pastors only to work for Christ for a living. Apostles of Christ worked with their own hands for a living and for preaching the Gospel of Christ. All saved Christians are servants of Christ in the Royal Priesthood of Christ. Do we make the spiritual understanding between the Leviticus Priesthood under the law and the Royal Priesthood in grace in the New Covenant or do we mix the two distinctive priesthoods cunningly for selfish gain to eliminate the so called clergy poverty and mess up with the doctrine of salvation in Grace? Christ gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and some teachers for the perfecting of saint in the work of the ministry for edifying the( church) body of Christ so us not to be deceived Ephesians4:11-19. Who set aside and allocated poverty and tithes to the pastors in preaching the Gospel of Christ since those who preach the Gospel (Christians/Royal priests) shall live by the Gospel or who bear the burden of mercy for the clergy to teach and preach falsehood on tithes for them not to be poor? When did they become pastors in poverty for the church to eliminate their poverty? Christians should share their wealth with the clergy willingly in Christ love but not in law. We are saved by Grace in Christ's love and our sharing should be in love. We saved Christians are not justified by the law. Galatians 2:21. We saved Christians are servants of Christ Jesus in the Royal Priesthood of the Saints. Why do many talk about key poverty of pastors on tithes among the five fold ministry? Where is their care and concerns for the other four ministries for they vouched for tithes not for the benefit of the body of Christ? This has brought a flood gate of preaching entrepreneurship boom diligently anchored by many on salvation under yardstick of tithes obligation. Some have spoken from the pulpit of brethren who don’t allow them eat tithes from their labor. Do they preach and teach for souls to be saved or for economic gains in tithes eating? Are they in LEVITICUS PRIESTHOOD or in THE ROYAL PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS CHRIST? A GENUINE ANSWER IS REQUIRED FOR NON DOUBLE STANDARD DOCTRINAL FAITH. For Christians it should be precepts upon precepts without contradictions under Royal Priesthood of Christ Jesus.
Should the pastors ministry overshadow other ministries? All ministries should work as one body in the body of Christ. Foot soldiers who support falsehood on tithes preaching and teaching are calling Christians who do not support tithing to ask for forgiveness or leave the church in a face saving cover up but we are not moved. They have stood as heroes of faith in tithes teachings falsehood. Christians bear no apology to no one for preaching and teaching the truth . Only those who preach and teach falsehoods are hurt by the truth. Christians should not be coaxed by great promises and deadly threats hedged in none doctrinal falsehoods promises taught in guarded personal ego gains. With God, the means justify the end in Jesus Christ. Christians should not be hoodwinked by GROANING DELIVERY OF FALSEHOOD AND THE GLORY associated with the fruits of falsehood benefits . As we speak on the falsehood on the doctrine of tithing for Christians, we have not closed our eyes to the needs of the Church nor have buried our heads in the sand devoid of understanding of our emotions to face the truth. We stand for truth aware of forces against the truth within the Church and outside the Church. We have been asked to ask for forgiveness for not supporting tithing without being told from whom to apply for forgiveness. We do not pursue and preserve justified falsehoods which meet easily the needs of the Church for with God, the means justify the end in Christ.
We are told we point an accusing finger to the clergy on issues concerning tithes falsehoods. We are part of the body of Christ and no part of the body accuses other parts. All body parts coordinate in functions and take care of one another when giving our body parts that are not comely more honor .We only pin point doctrinal falsehood taught by clergy thus taking care of the body of Christ spiritually in love. We do not waver in our minds and hearts in our stand on tithes issues. If one is stuck in sticky clay of falsehood, us a Christian one has to owner up and warm up to the truth and shape up to be free in did. We are fully aware of glorious unstable spiritual empires built on quick sand by men through falsehood under threat from the truth. If the empires fall apart there is no loss for Christians to worry about for apology. We are warned of danger of teaching and preaching the truth by exposing ourselves to well organized affluent churches of able humble men. We stand for Christ in life and death without shame in removing the dark cloud of falsehood taught on tithes. Well organized fruitful falsehoods from those in authority do not translate to truth and righteousness, 2 Corinthians11:13-14.
Those under the law are under curse and the law kills 2 Corinthians 3:6. Those lead by the Spirit are not under law and curses Galatians5: 6, Galatians 3:8-13. Christians are redeemed from the curse of the law to adoption of sons . Roman 8:1-17,Galatians4:4- 5. We saved Christians are not under law but under grace Roman6:13-14.Are they telling Christians curses under law are blessings for them or they have powers to remove curses when Christians tithe to them? Christians must remain spiritually alert and be not be spiritually blind, They have directed Christians to deceptive ways of curses for their own benefits and not blessings. The bounty of terror of deceptive covetousness is professionally tactically presented as blessing based on salvation under yard stick of tithes. Many pastors have illegally allocated all tithes to themselves. Tithes were for specifics needs under old covenant for specific people help. Apostles of CHRIST did not use concealed deceptive covetousness to preach the Gospel .1Thessalonians2:3-6.We should renounce hidden things of dishonesty and not walk craftily handling the Word of God deceitfully 2Corithians 4:1-2. In tithes teaching the clergy makes spot of the needs for the better faultless New Covenant in obtained excellent ministry established upon better promises which has specific intended goals in Love by Grace in Jesus Christ. Hebrew 8:6-8. Christians are Spiritually born in the new Covenant by Grace in Love in Christ Jesus.
The body of CHRIST has been subjected to doctrinal mess by Levite priests and Levite pastors. TITHE IS A PURE CLASSIC SLEEK DOCTRINAL FALSEHOOD FOR CHRISTIANS CULTIVATED IN UNMATCHED PERSONAL CONCEALED ZEAL BY PASTORS IN LEADERSHIP FOR PERSONAL INTERESTS AND GAINS WHO UNDERSTAND UNIVERSALLY ON TITHES AND SALVATION AND FAIL TO APPRECIATE THE TIME OF LAW AND THE TIME OF GRACE DISPENSATION. In willful deception by calling themselves the Levites of today who persecuted Christians and plunder Christians pockets today they are able to demand to be given tithes. Levites priests and elders never gave a helping hand to Christians. Christ did not leave His Church under Leviticus Priesthood and no Levite priest was chosen as His Apostle . Leviticus Priesthood is forced on the throats of Christians by pastors for perfectly concealed selfish interests and gains. Do they want to tell us that Christ and Apostles of Christ forgot to ask for tithes during the early formative stage of Christian Ministry. When we take the Word of God out of its content and contest ,we have contempt for the Word of God. He (GOD)who brought tithing under the Old Covenant took it away in His(CHRIST) own Divine rights( after the order of Melchisedec ) in the new Covenant. Perfection is in grace and not in law. Hebrew7: 7-26, Hebrew8:6-13 Hebrew9:1-27 Hebrew10:1-23. Leviticus Priesthood is impressive to many since it involves waiting at the sanctuary for provision and serving only at the altar of sacrifice. The order of Melchisedec was in Melchisedec Himself and existed before any tithe was offered. It is erroneously taught that tithes taught in the Old Covenant and comments made on tithes in the New Covenant in reference to Old Covenant sum up to uphold to tithe for Christians in order of Melchisedec which some teachings made suggest the order of Melchisedec in modeled on tithes. Now where is indicated in the Holly Bible that Abraham redeemed his first born sons Ishmael and Isaac when they were born since he operated in faith in God and not under the law. The law is not of faith. We are saved by grace from all sins of iniquities.
We can preach the Word of God quoting scriptures like the devil when he tested Jesus or quote the scriptures like CHRIST when He answered satan in time of need. Matthew 4:1-11. Jesus did not say Amen to satan for quoting the scripture. Jesus Christ taught men can teach commandments of men for doctrines. Mathew15:5-9. This addressed falsehood which can come from those in authority in the Church ( bishops, pastors, priest and elders) leadership. We can have a zeal of faith and commitment to establish our own righteousness not according to righteousness of God in the knowledge of his Word. Roman 10:1-4. Pastors and priests calling themselves Levites today have capitalized on low level of Christian doctrinal knowledge teachings among Christians. Tithing contradict the doctrine of salvation by GRACE and deprive the Christians in Loyal Priesthood in Christ Jesus the individual empowerment to do the Great Commission. When we are loyal Priests and the bride Of Christ to whom do we tithe to? Is it not even if it were in Natural world for servants to tithe to Loyal Priests? Pastors Priest and Bishops are also in the Loyal Priesthood of Jesus Christ all of us being sons and servants composing the body of Christ unless they exclude themselves. The underlying mystery is to deliver the Church of Christ in concealed form to Leviticus Priesthood for Priests ,Pastor and Bishops to enable them demand tithes. Mathew15:5-9.
We can preach the Word of God making the Church a house of merchandise to make merchandise of Christians and those who do so whose God is their belly which made Adam and Eve to fail in their relationship with God. It is a lucrative profitable business based on arithmetic of numbers cunningly preserved with tactical appreciations to the body of Christ and spreading of the Gospel. Are elect Christians easily deceived out of their wits? Romans 16:17 -19 ,2 Peter 2:1-3, John 2:16, Philppians3:17-19. We can preach Christ out of envy, strife or of good will. Philippians 1:15-17,2Corinthians4:1-2. It is the body of Christ the Church which is sent to preach to the world also as individuals brethren bearing the burden to preach to the world as Apostles of Christ did. The responsibility has not been on shoulders of priests and pastors only. Brethren are the loyal priests and ambassadors of Christ and has committed unto us the Church the word of reconciliation, 2 Corinthians :19-20. THERE WERE NO FENCE SITTINGS AND ARE NO FENCE SITTINGS IN THE NEW COVENANT MINISTRY MEDIATED BY OUR APOSTLE AND THE HIGH PRIEST OF OUR FAITH LORD JESUS CHRIST. Apostles labored with their hand to provide for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Christians' offerings they received were not tithes. No one is specially chosen to be at receiving end of tithes so as to preach worldwide the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We saved Christians are the Loyal Priests AND Ambassadors of Jesus Christ.2 Peter 2:1-9, 2 Corinthians5:14-20. The preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not entirely sorely in the hands of clergy. It is in the hands of the (Church in Loyal Priesthood) believers composing the body of Jesus Christ.
Tithing is a hard topic to teach without spiritual understanding since we have many high profile elite preachers teaching on the same with books written of great hoped promises and condemnation on the same for those who do not tithe, Ephesians 5:6-7, 1Thessalonians 2:3-4. Some well educated elite Christians are involved in deceptive teaching on tithes which is warmly appreciated from the pulpit. They are the magnetizing force with alluring great hoped blessed promises of wealth based on tithes. When will it dawn on them that they teach doctrine of men on tithing for Christians saved by grace. On moving from one church to another or by taking a flight from one continent to another on falsehood mission, lies taught on tithes by them cannot be justified by the sacrificial cost incurred to do so. Only when they uphold the truth and uplift Christ as they decrease and Christians stop earthly social status cult adoration in respect of human beings will truth prevails’. Pharisees and the Scribes were most well educated and Jesus said woe unto them seven times for being stumbling blocks in faith. Mathew 23:9-39. We only need to rightly divide the Word of God and know whether we are Christians seeking salvation under the law or we are Christians saved by grace in Christ through the Spiritual law of love, Corinthians 1:12-16,2 Timothy 2:15 .
We redeemed sons of God who are made Kings and priests unto God have a common inheritance in Christ Jesus, Galatians 4:4-5, Colssians1:9-14 ,1Corinthians 2:12-16. Revelation 1;4-6 .Let well educated brethren teach the Word of God the same way as learned Doctor Luke and Br. Paul did for spiritual growth of the body of Christ. Let well educated Christians stand for justice like Dr. Gamaliel who was a doctor of law who in his response rescued the apostles from eminent death in the hands of Levite priests, Acts;5:17-42. We are called spiritual sons of God after salvation not before in fallen state and who are enabled to do the righteousness that was in the law but we are not under the law. The same priests and pastors wreck the spiritual scriptures when they teach fallen Angles are called sons of God who married daughters of men giving offspring of giants , Genesis 6:1-8. God says he has never called any angles his son, Hebrew 1:4-5.When were fallen angles redeemed and sanctified to be called sons? The ownership of daughters is unto multiplied men who were referred to as sons of God and the lust to polygamous marriage was with men. Are beautiful daughters born today for men? Shall we have another episode of fallen angles marrying daughters of men before the close of age? Many have taught the Word of God outside Biblical doctrines so many are deceived in their teaching and preaching which condemn God as unjust since no judgment is passed to angles they refer to as sons of God. When men dropped further from grace when they practiced polygamous marriage and their life span was reduced to one hundred and twenty years , no judgment is passed to purposed angles they teach us sons of God. The sons of God were men who had done reconciliation to God the same way Abel had done and was accepted by God. The judgment is specifically to mankind and giants born in sin of polygamous marriage do not qualify the sons of God to be angles. God said His spirit shall not always strive with man and He saw the wickedness of man was great. This time there is no wickedness or judgment associated with angles, Genesis6:1—7.Angles are ministering spirits with no reproductive empowerment, Matthew 22:29-32, Hebrew 1:14-14.
Our relationship to God our Father is in love in our loyal priesthood to the world. Roman 8:14-17. Only those who are not sincere mix teaching under carnal law and spiritual teaching enlightenment under spiritual law. When we study the old covenant it should help us get rooted deeply in the new covenant. The devil uses the nobles, evil and false witness to do his will according to circumstances, Acts 13;50-51 Acts 6: 9-14. Christians must remain wise and not be cheated by devils workers transforming themselves as angles of light which corrupt the Word of God, 2Corinthians2:17, 2Corinthians11: 13-15. Levites Pastor, Priests and some Christians misquote Jesus Christ on judgment. Judge not that you may be not judged . Matthew7:1-5. Jesus taught you shall be subjected to same measure you use on others? There no room for zero judgment in Jesus Christ Teachings. They say God prohibit judgment which is not true since it is based on taking the scripture out of content and contest on understanding Jesus statement. It has given them a highway of teaching lies without being questioned. They have separated themselves from the body of Christ to ideal entity who cannot be censured. Shall you close your eyes to evils committed that they may not judge you. Do you buy yourself freedom from being judged for not condemning evil or commenting on anything positive or negative. The preaching of the Word of God is based on judgment on sins and righteousness .
God requires from us righteous judgment in wisdom and in love which condemn sins which leads man to repentant of sins and redemption. The Word of God in its content and contest states judgment on sins and righteousness. Christians are saved by grace in Christ's love and our judgment must remain under Spiritual law of love in Grace that leads to redemption and under perfect law of liberty to do righteousness in Christ love, James 1:20-25, James2:10-26. Thus to him that knows to do good in liberty and does not do it is sin to him, James 4:15 Bro James taught us to avoid judgment under carnal law that brings condemnation without redemption. Those who live under law shall face judgment without mercy for no man shall be justified by the works of the law,Galatians2:16-21 . All living beings and organic life are in constant judgment for existent. If we can stop all processes of judgments life will come to a standstill and ultimate death with final judgment of decay. Life and all creation were established in good judgment by God and close of age shall end in judgment to eternal life or eternal death which is eternal life of suffering and separation from God. Genesis 1:1-31, Genesis 2:1-25. Even our bodies judge us out of energy and we hunger for food and thirst for water. All witty discoveries are results of acknowledgment of positive judgments on well active coordinated principals. Christians are encouraged to solve cases in judgment among themselves. 1Corinthians 6:1-7.
The Bible encourages us that our love may abound yet more in knowledge and in all Judgment and we judge ourselves dead in Christ, 2 Corinthians5:14 ,Philippians 1:9-12. We are encouraged to be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment, I Corinthians 1:10. Life is in active constant judgments and the creation mourns for final judgment which it shall be subjected by God. We relate in evaluation to all things in judgment. What we known and do not know is based on judgment. What we believe right or wrong is based on judgment. Irrespective of any judgment delivered on us we should deliver the Heavenly Kingdom judgment to sins. We saved Christians are counted and judged worthy to suffer tribulations together with Christ when we live Christian life in love ,Revelation Chapter1,2 and3. We thus judge ourselves dead to sin in Christ Jesus. We cannot stop delivering Heavenly Judgments to buy ourselves freedom from being judged.
Without a sense of judgmental evaluation of good, evil or bad would never exist for humanity and humanity would enter into a void valueless state in life. Even when others say do not judge others , that statement bear judgment in itself. Our appreciation is in judgment. There are may be those who preach tithing to saved Christians for lack of spiritual understanding. We should girdle up the loins of our minds as the knowledgeable wise sharers of the Word of God . 1Peter :13-15.Roman 10:1-4. We shall be off the hook of being soothed ,cornered, and been cheated on doctrinal issue in Christianity, 2Timothy4:3-4. When we stand for truth we build the body of Jesus Christ, in contradiction to accusation of bringing down the church. Those who cannot bear the Holy Bible Doctrine in Christians giving condemn themselves. In truth the Church grows stronger, regrets and dismay are removed from our Spiritual Christian life growth since we do not wear the coat of hypocritical harm. The storm of tithe falsehood is halted and bears no apology. When we expose falsehood as God is clear in HIS Word that we Christians should be spiritually awake and aware of false preaching and teaching, we shy not being falsely accused. God bless us in abundant grace of spiritual revelation and spiritual understanding of His Holy Word, Colssians1:9-14, Ephesians 5:6 -7,1Thessalonians 2:3-6, 2Timothy2:15, 2Timothy 2:24-26 . Amen I am happily blessed to interact with you on spiritual teachings. Hope we shall search more scriptures for our beneficial spiritual growth . Yearning to receive your input on the topic .God bless you. The message is freely given purely to the body of JESUS CHRIST worldwide.
