Photos: Former African Heads of States visit DRC Photo 2
Jerry John Rawlings in the DR Congo as part of
a group of ex African Leaders sent specifically to Kinshasa to talk to the
various parties to gracefully accept the results of the just concluded 2nd
Round Presidential Elections. Results are due to be released on 19th
November.
Four former African heads of state separately met with the Democratic Republic of Congo's two presidential candidates, and said both appeared ready to accept the outcome of the election without fighting.
