Ghana is gearing up to host the Alkebulan Africa Summit 2025, a pivotal three-day event from March 26 to 28, 2026, designed to strengthen bonds between the continent and its worldwide diaspora through concrete investments, innovations, and partnerships.
Under the theme “Uniting the Diaspora to Inspire Change”, the summit will gather prominent leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers from Africa, Europe, and the Americas right here in Accra.
Founded and led by Ivorian visionary Olivier N’Guessan, the gathering is more than a conference, it’s a dynamic “platform for action and influence” where attendees will work hand-in-hand to shape a self-reliant, globally competitive Africa.
“We’re not just talking about Africa’s potential…, we’re designing its future together, as one global African community,” N’Guessan declared.
The speaker lineup brings together expertise across innovation, energy, governance, media, and business strategy. Highlights include Geneviève Levellé, Chief Operating Officer of LiquidAcre in the UK; Shakirri Murrain, Director of Innovation Solutions at RICE Atlanta in the USA; Hesta Baker, CEO of Africa Travel in Liberia; and Jéhu Ndoumi, CEO and President of Yunus Group in Cameroon.
Joining them are Naquetta Ricks, a US-based politician and businesswoman; Emma Sharif, Mayor of the City of Compton in the USA; and Arlene Richards Barr, International Business Director at Atlanta International Airport.
Ghanaian voices will be front and centre with Kwasi Boatey Boateng, CEO of Webber Energy; Mathias Hommey, CEO of 1-2 M&M Engineer Ltd; Gideon Aryeequaye, Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency; Bills Gborgli (Papa Bills), Head of Media Production for the summit; Anthony Kingsley Eduam, Executive board member and founder Olivier N’Guessan himself.
Nonetheless, Gideon Aryeequaye, the Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency, played a pivotal role in shaping the upcoming Alkebulan Africa Summit by extending invitations to the influential leaders, innovators, and investors set to converge in Accra.
Participants can look forward to high-level discussions on investment, trade, technology, and diaspora engagement, alongside partnership sessions that connect businesses and innovators across borders. Interactive masterclasses and exhibitions will showcase African creativity, enterprise, and tech advancements, while media roundtables and impact-driven initiatives aim for real, measurable results rather than empty rhetoric.
Registration is open now with an Individual Pass at $150, offering two days of full access plus coffee breaks and lunch included, or a Corporate Pass at $250 with the same benefits. Delegates are urged to secure spots via the official channels and hit the prominent “Register Now” button.
Nonetheless, Accra’s selection as host is no coincidence. The city houses the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat and stands as a vibrant hub for West African innovation. Ghana’s leadership in the Beyond the Return initiative further cements its role as the perfect bridge for pan-African collaboration and diaspora reintegration.
Organisers are prioritising frameworks to channel diaspora capital and know-how into Africa’s economic shift, with networking opportunities to spark alliances, launch ventures, and tackle the continent’s toughest challenges head-on.
As Ghana readies itself for this influx of global talent, the Alkebulan Africa Summit 2025 promises to be a defining milestone, where bold ideas meet strategic execution, and the diaspora steps up as true co-architects of Africa’s tomorrow.
