Actress, Kate Henshaw
Actress Kate Henshaw has taken a swipe at the Independent National Electoral Commission chairman's media aide, Rotimi Oyekanmi for criticising her following a post she made on social media.
The fight began after INEC announced the postponement of the Governorship and State House Assembly elections on Twitter.
A Nigerian identified as PapaKing73 on Twitter questioned why INEC made the announcement at an odd hour. Commenting on the tweet Kate Henshaw said that it is only thieves that do things in such a manner.
Replying to Kate Henshaw's tweet, Oyekanmi called out the actress and asked if she knew how challenging it is to conduct an election in Nigeria.
He added that he expected someone of her calibre to be circumspect before making such comments on sensitive issues.
Kate Henshaw who wasn't pleased with his comment clapped back at him, and asked him how long he will keep making excuses for incompetence.
She noted that he is a beneficiary of the status quo and asked him to step aside.
