The man fell from a four storey building after provoking the baboon
A Kenyan man fell down from a roof in the capital Nairobi as he faced a baboon attack.
A video circulating online shows Dickson Maina, a matatu (minibus taxi) driver, climbing a wall approaching a baboon that is atop a corrugated iron roof of a storied building.
The animal charges at him as he gets near it before he falls down below. He was afterwards treated for injuries in hospital.
He told the Standard newspaper he had gone up the building in the built-up neighbourhood after he heard people shouting, attempting to chase away the baboon.
He said he broke his arm as well as sustaining injuries on his face.
