Lesotho's Prime Minister Thomas Thabane has extended the nationwide lockdown by two weeks to prevent coronavirus infections.
The country that is yet to record any coronavirus case has been lockdown for three weeks.
The lockdown was to end on Tuesday but has been extended until 5 May.
The prime minister said the extension will allow the government to prepare more and acquire specialized and protective equipment, according to AFP news agency.
Lesotho is a landlocked country that is surrounded by South Africa which has 3,465 cases of coronavirus.
