Nigeria's Information Minister denies knowledge of social media and hate speech bill

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has denied having any knowledge of the Social media bill.

The Minister made this declaration in an interview with Deutsche Welle after being asked about the bill.

Choosing to lie about the bill, Lai Mohammed said:

"Who is the author of that bill?" he asked the interviewer.

"I am not even aware of the bill. There is no such bill before the house and I can say that categorically," he said.

Nigerians who reacted to the viral video termed Mohammed, a Liar.

Recall that ex-Aviation Minister, Femi Fami-Fayode has continually labelled Lai a liar, and has hit at him severally, alleging that the serving Minister has bad breath.
