The G20 is an intergovernmental forum that connects the world's major economies, the official website of the bloc states.
G20 members spans all continents across the world with Africa and Oceania having just a single country represented.
Africa's representative being South Africa and Australia in the the case of Oceania.
At the recent G20 summit that took place in Indonesia - between 15 - 16 November, 2022; South Africa was duly represented by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

They include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.
Spain is also invited as a permanent guest.
