The area’s secretary-general, Peter Lebelek, told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that the incident took place when the students were attacked by an unknown armed group near the Ethi area of Jebel Boma County on Tuesday.
He said the two students were walking on foot to visit their families in Pibor County when they fell into the ambush.
