IAAF Lille Metropole Results: Aziz In Top Gear

Villeneuve D'Ascq - Veteran sprinter Frankie Fredericks has proved he is in fine form at the age of 35 by winning a top-class 200 metres race in a time of 20.23sec at a Grand Prix in France.

Fredericks beat Abdul Aziz Zakari of Ghana, who clocked 20.34sec, and Nigeria's Uchenna Emedolu to the line.

In the men's 100m, Aziz Zakari finished third in a mediocre 10.20sec behind winner Deji Aliu of Nigeria who posted a time of 10.08sec
