Inusha named Runner of the Week

OREM, Utah - Utah Valley State cross country runner Aisha Inusha was named the NCAA Division I Independant Runner of the Week following first place finish in the UNLV Invitational.

Inusha, a freshman from Tamale, West Africa, finished the 5k race in 18:42 and led UVSC to a first place team finish. Aisha has received the "runner of the week" award twice this year. Her teammate Krista Young also earned the honor two weeks ago following her fifth-place finish in the Willamette Invitational.
