Sprint Queen, Vida Anim is fit to compete in the women’s 200 meters event this evening, this is according to Ghana’s team leader at the Olympic Games, Dr. Andrew Owusu.
The 29-year-old started training three weeks ago at the team’s training base of Plymouth after picking a hamstring injury at the Africa Athletics championship in Benin in late June.
There were reports that the German based athlete will also withdraw on injury grounds.
