Margaret Simpson wins 100m

Ghana’s athlete Margaret Simpson on Monday made a bright start to a campaign at the ongoing World Athletic Championship in Daegu, South Korea.

She won the Women’s 100m fete and clocked a season best of 13:43.

In the 200m heat, she came third with the time of 25:23.

Margaret Simpson has so far accumulated 869 pts and is now ranked 16th in the competition.
