?233 basketball pitch for PRESEC

A sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a ?233 million basketball pitch for the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC) Legon has began. Construction of the pitch is expected to be completed within three months.

In his address, the Rev. Dr. David Kpobi, Ga. Presbytery chairperson of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and an old/student of PRESEC who cut the sod, commended the initiative of the 1979 year group to help its alma mater and advised the students to emulate the exemplary work of their past students.

Rev. Dr. Kpobi exhorted the students to use the game of basket ball to build bridges and exhibit good sportsmanship, friendship and love at all times, urging the school authorities to maintain the pitch very well after its completion.

The headmaster of PRESEC, Mr. J.J. Asare thanked the 1979 year group for its gesture.
