Defending Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Champions Braves of Customs will see out the first round of the 2018 season with a game against Ghana Fire Service.
The matchup has been scheduled to tip off at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu right before the season heads to a break.
Both teams are in fine form heading to the game with Braves spotting a seven-game winning streak while Fire Service is riding a two-game winning run.
Braves also hold the only unblemished record winning all games thus far and moved up to first place in the standings after recording a big 90-52 win over Ghana Police Service.
Fire has won its past couple of games after struggling to come up with wins for most parts of the round and is aiming to end on a high note.
Ghana Fire Service’s play has improved markedly and the addition of Emmanuel Ocquaye to the roster has been another reason.
The league continues in the aftermath of Ghana ‘s National Unity Games.
