Declare regional champions - Basketball Association

Accra, March 18, GNA - The Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) has requested all regional associations to declare and submit their 2004 regional champions in both the male and female categories to the national secretariat before April 5, 2005.

A statement signed by Ignatius Elletey, Acting General Secretary of the GBBA, copied to the GNA Sports said the submissions should include league fixtures, detailed results of the league, copies of score sheets used for the competition, completed club registration and the affiliation forms.

The statement urged all regional associations to treat the request as urgent to enable the GBBA declare its national champion for 2004 as well as fulfil its obligations to the international bodies. 18 March 05
