Ghana Center Amida Brimah has started his career with San Antonio Spurs on a good note by registering six points, one rebound and one assist in 10 minutes of play.
The 6 foot 11 inch Center recorded the pleasant stat line in Spurs 100-106 loss to Sacramento Kings in a preseason game played earlier today at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.
Aside ending the game with a positive mark on the raw statistical aspect in the loss, Brimah scored another positive in the advanced statistical column as his efficiency was rated +5.
This is an encouraging start for the former University of Connecticut Captain who is in the hunt to make the Spurs final 15 man cut for the 2017-2018 season.
Brimah was a late pick up to San Antonio’s Camp after limited appearances for Chicago Bulls in the NBA Summer League after going undrafted.
On the other hand, Spurs likely starting Center Pau Gasol had a poor shooting night as he recorded zero points with LaMarcus Aldridge topping scoring for the team with 17 points.
Both teams face off again on Friday October 7 at AT7T Center in San Antonio.
