National female junior team to start holiday camp

Accra, Sept 17, GNA - Players of the National Basketball female junior team resident in Accra have been requested to report to the Lebanon House, next Monday, to start a holiday camp in preparation for an impending international assignment.

A statement by the Ramatu Sulemana, coach of the team said a similar exercise would be held in Tamale for players from the Northern region.


It said the players from Tamale are to report to their coaches of their zone for direction.


It said the training days would be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and all players are requested to bring along their training kits. The for the Accra camp the players are Imani Bawa, Najima Bawa, Nayaba Bawa, Gabrielle Obeng, Victoria Otoo, Catherine Kuma, Favour Torko, Angela Sadalor, Ivis Nyami, Nana Addy and Zazi Hylander. The rest are Memunatu Musa, Chery Adjepong, Andrey Selasi, Naa Oday Ardey, Nana Serwah, Niblea Sononas, Nana Ama Ahwoi, Rebecca Some, Sophia Amoah, Felicia Sarpong and Lillian Aryiko Naa.

Whiles those for the Tamale camp are Safuna Abdallah, Fatima Adam, Fatima Mumuni and Elizbeth Thomas.


The boys are Frank Sadik, Sadik Alhassan, Andrews Abambilla, Patrick Alongdong, Andan Adaru, Braham Wahaga and Michael Kproebaareh.
