Popular Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo wey pipo sabi as di 'Red Carpet Goddess' don react to di tori about di cloth wey she wear go di 10th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Tori bin go viral on social media say Ms Addo, wey don win 'Best Dressed Female' award for previous AMVCAs and wey be one of di celebrities wey her cloth to dis year event totori pipo, no tag di Nigerian designer wey follow design her outfit on her social media accounts.

According to di tori, di Nigerian stylist Ezinne Olivia tok say Addo no give her credit for her work despite her contribution to di di cloth.

However Ms Addo for dis exclusive interview wit BBC Pidgin explain say she bin tag di Nigerian designer Ezinne Olivia, alongside oda pipo wey bin work to create her look for di event, but Olivia say "comot my name, no tag me wit Ghanaian designers."

She add say although she ask Olivia to choose if she want money or make she tag her, Olivia say she prefer money and even wit dat, she still tag her but na she say she no want di tag and she comot her name.

AMVCA na di biggest award event for Africa wey dey usually hold for Lagos, Nigeria commercial capital.

For her, na yearly practice wey she no dey like carry over and dat na why according to her she dey like prepare months ahead for di event so dat evri tin, especially her looks go dey perfect. She say for her e be like "project production".

And in all these years, Nana no ever get any known kwanta wit any of her stylists wey go attract media attention.

She say in a year, if na three events she go plan to attend, she go take her time to plan well for di event.

Nana add say for dis particular AMVCA, she don dey plan am ova a year ago, the first outfit she first get, she no like am, so the money she spend waste, but dis oda one she like am well-well and e cost her $6,000.

She be German-born Ghanaian model, actress and film producer.

She study acting for New York Film Academy, USA.

She don feature for some movies wey include; Destiny Child, Speechless, Wanna Be, among odas.

She be di second-runner up for Miss Malaika 2003 and di winner of Miss Ghana- Germany for 2005.

Ms Addo don win many awards as Best Dressed Female celebrity for di many red carpet wey she don grace, wey include 2020 AMVCA Best Dressed, Glitz Style award best dressed, best new actress for 2014, among odas.

Apart from her glamourous social life, Ms Addo na homely pesin.

She tell BBC say family dey important to her so she no dey do too much on social media.

"As I finish AMVCA so, If I reach house, I go comot gloves, comot wig, comot clothes and straight to di kitchen, straight to be a mother, to be a wife and dat na why I no dey do too show for evri event. In a year if na three red carpets I go fit do, e dey okay as balance dey important."
