Di 82-year-old religious leader for one programme wit young adults and youths of di church say im make “mistake” wen e tell believers say if dem no pay tithe, dem fit no make heaven.

“I dey sorry for saying if you no pay tithe, you fit no make heaven, E dey wrong, E no dey for Bible,” Adeboye apologise.

E say wetin Bible tok na “be at peace wit all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.

Di respected senior pastor bin tok for 2020 during one of im sermons on tithe say, paying tithe na one of di tins believers fit do to make heaven.

“Anyone wey no pay tithe no go go heaven fullstop.” Adeboye bin tok.

For one recent sermon wit di church youth during dia October 2024 Youth Convention, di pastor wen e dey preach about "dominion" tok wetin youths fit do to dominate.

On di tithe mata wey dey controversial in di Christendom, e say very soon, im go come out tok to everybody as soon as God permit am on top di tithe mata.

E also clear am say e dey possible to dey right and wrong at di same time.

To shed more light on di tithing message, Pastor Adeboye say e dey wrong to limit believers to 10% wen some of dem suppose dey do 20%, 30%, 40%.

"10% suppose be for beginners," and "Giving suppose be violently." E add.

E say for anyone wey wan be at di top, anyone wey wan dey control finances, di pesin go go far beyond 10%. " E dey wrong for me to tell you to do 10%."
