TT Brothers gives GHC 20,000.00 to Golden Arms after their success

On Friday, the Ghana Armwrestling Federation led by Mr. Charles Osei Asibey paid a courtesy call to one of their supportive sponsors TT Brothers after their impressive performance in the Africa Armwrestling Championships in Lagos, Nigeria.

Ghana won 22 medals in all .Ten gold medals ,six silver medals and six bronze medals.

The managing director of TT Brothers company limited, Mr.Isaac Tetteh on behalf of the board congratulated the athletes, the coaches and the management team for such a wonderful work that they did by raising the Ghana flag high in the Africa Armwrestling Championships.

He stated: “You are back full of medals and happiness for the country, on behalf of the board, I say a big ‘Ayekoo’ to all of you because you have made our country Ghana so proud, you have have sold Ghana to the world. It is not only football that can sell Ghana so that alone, it’s a very good sign for all of us.

You have been able to sell Ghana to the extent that you will host the 2018 edition.”

He continued: “I’m doing this today to make you feel proud of what you have done and that will also give you morale to start your preparation for the 2018 because you will start preparation from now so i will give Eighteen thousand Ghana cedis GH¢ 18,000.00 to the athletes and the management team and two thousand Ghana cedis into the coffers of the federation. At least each of you have GH¢ 1,000.00 to buy your medications and supplement to start your preparation towards 2018 Africa Armwrestling Championships that we will be hosting it.”

He finally expressed his sad moment to Kumasi Asante on their fatal accident that they had on their return to Kumasi after their GPL week 22 fixture last Wednesday against Inter Allies in which their equipment officer ,Thomas Asare lost his life.

“For their side who have got injury, i pray that they will recover very fast. We wish them a very speedy recovery and for the lost one we are mourning with the wife ,children, family, Kotoko fans and the entire management and the technical team. We should all have faith in God ,whatever happened, we should all give thanks to God. I pray that the players recover very fast so that they can come back to the field.”
